Chat room issues?

I cant' seem to get into the chat this evening. Errors out with "Room does not exist" error.

I just got in right away. I've gotten errors before, but trying again has tended to work.

Ok now it's telling me "Unknow username" and then "Room name error" when I try to login. Tried IE7, IE6, Firefox and all that jazz. Appears to maybe be tied to my account. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Bummer.

I don't think it's your account, Sgt. I just tried and was met with a bunch of Test Module entries, then the "username does not exist" message, then "Room name error", then finally a bizarre Spanish-language chat which is not Brewers related. I believe I'm still in that chat now.

 

I've sent a message reporting the problem to Ransom, our yuku troubleshooter. Keep your fingers crossed.

Sounds about the exact same issue. I think the interweb tubes are clogged and conspiring against us.

EDIT: I'm in, but everything is just a bunch of random symbols. Looks like Ransom is trying to take care of it.

I got in when I switched to IE view but it's just coming as ###&&@#$#### stuff again.

Things are working as of 8:00 PM CDT Friday night. Ransom identified a problem in the profanity filter, which perhaps explained how all posts looked like cussing.

It is 8:10, and the room is not working, with the same issues for me. Oh, and Rick Majarus is making my ears bleed.

Not sure what to tell you, molitor fan. Several posters are in the chat now and it is functioning as well as it ever has. (Take that how you will.)

 

I have been limited this evening to IE to make it work. I'd consider switching back to firefox but I don't want to get locked out again.

Same thing MF. I get the the same errors no matter what browser I'm running.. or which computar machine.

sadly, i haven't been able to be in the chat since we switched over to Yuku. I don't think I have enough memory on the computer to download another browser, and I'm not willing to try anything. Oh well, there's always the IGT.

I can't get in again today, either. I'm using IE right now. Guess maybe I should try Firefox.

 

Managed to get in using Firefox...IE wasn't working for me for some reason.

I have been getting this same problem for about a week now. I informed BtA about this, he suggested using a different browser, which I have but no luck..Keep getting the "Username does not exist!" error, then a selection of these weird test chatrooms, all in Spanish...
