I think I've seen how this one ends. We go into a sudden death situation on the road, tied, and Ned keeps Cordero on the bench until we can get the lead, as he uses our inferior relievers to try to keep the game tied, with the meat of the other team's order coming up.

 

They don't, we lose, and the next day, Ned furiously insists that using Cordero up would be stupid.
