Wow, I go downstairs to eat dinner, and this is what I come back up to. Yeesh.

 

This Cassel guy is cruising. Not a good start to the series. Time's running out on this season, Brewers. If you want to extend it, you have to win games.

 

Well, study time.

I guess this is just confirming that they aren't ready. There's a ton of raw talent, but they just don't have the experience and cojones yet to win.

By the way, this movie is great - I haven't seen this in years! AND, I forgot about hot Donna Dixon was in this movie!

If it must happen, I think I'd rather see the Brewers miss out on the postseason by having both them and the cubs win out. Not by both teams losing out. My goodness.

 

I'm with you. I pretty much said the same thing in an earlier post... it justifies people bashing the NLC teams... we suck

In 465 AB's at AAA in 2002, Bill Hall had what some might consider the worst statistical season of a "prospect" in the modern era. Granted, he was only 22:

 

465 AB's, .228 AVG, only 25 BB, 105 K's, .272 OPB, .301 SLG, .573 OPS

 

That's the Bill Hall we're seeing now.

I may be off my nut, but if the Brewers want to go to the playoffs, I'm thinking someone in the lower half of the order is going to have to get a hit before the season is over.
