Hank Aaron is in town tonight for the groudbreaking of Winston-Salem's new ballpark. I was just giddy to go when i first found out an hour ago (yeah, i don't read papers), but then i realized he'll likely just show up, grab a shovel, pause for some PR photos, then leave.

 

so do I go anyway and stand through long minutes of witless local politicians making speeches just to glimpse the greatness that is Hank Aaron or skip it and do, like, anything else?
