The 10 PM news is 35 minutes long instead of the normal 30 minutes. The news ends at 10:35, at which time the late night talk shows begin. They last an hour and and at :35 past. Every show during the night starts at either :05 or :35. At what point do they get back on to starting at :00 or :30, and how do they get that 5 minutes back that the local news took? Do they run infomercials and public service announcements for 25 minutes?

Yep. Sometimes they'll have infomercials that go longer, sometimes they'll have commercials longer than normal until they can get it back to :00 or :30.

"If I've learned anything from watching the show Cops over the years."

The one thing that I have learned is that random meth-heads, drunks, and hookers have a better understanding of constitutional law than I will ever have.

I remember watching Cops once featuring some druggie dude running from the police. The guy was trying to get home and somehow avoid the arrest. There were a few squad cars involved and several police officers involved in the chase. The guy they were trying to catch was pretty big. He must have been 6'3 or better busting 300 lbs or better. He had a pretty good lead on the cops and actually made it to his front yard. The dude was obviously trying to get into his house at that point and was looking back over his shoulder at the gang of cops trying to get him.

One cop yelled out: "He's gonna run into the house!"

Sure enough, the guy was not paying attention to where he was going since he was looking behind him. He miss judged the distance left to the front door and ran at full speed right into the side of the house. The viewing audience heard the crash and saw the perpetrator fall to the grass totally unconscious.

I could not stop laughing for about 10 minutes.

You know on days where you don't feel well and you have an upset stomach and you don't eat very much? Well, I had one of those days yesterday. I didn't eat much at all, now this morning, I'm already starving, 2 hours after I ate breakfast. I didn't even think to bring a snack with me to work, now I have to wait 3 more hours until lunch.

Summer Catch is the only chick flick that I actually don't mind watching at all.

Casablanca half-qualifies and is awesome. Princess Bride?

Princess Bride?

Not a chick flick -- There is sword play and fighting in it.

Not only sword play and fighting, but revenge, fire swamps, giantry, battle of wits, and pirates!

The album "Souls for Sale" by Verbena is maybe one of the best albums of the 90's, but no one has ever heard of it. On a related note, the now-defunct Verbena's lead singer Scott Bondy has a new disc out under the moniker A.A. Bondy called "American Hearts" and everybody should get it. It's Alabama gospel/country rock greatness.

"Think Sue Johansen is a tiger in the bedroom?"

I wonder what it would be like dating one of those love/relationship advice experts or even a psychiatrist. I think it'd be awesome. Plus maybe they end up comparing you to a lot of the nutjobs they treat and you come up roses.

With all due respect, TLB, CCR could be your dads. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

So true. Would that make me their... fortunate son?
