You know, I've never bought anything from woot, but I do check the site a few times a week. Last night, I took a look around 11:30 and said to myself, "they haven't had a woot-off in a while", and there it is.

Dang, last night I checked at around 12:05 and the site was down so I went to bed and told my wife and she was like "it must be a woot-off", and I was like "I dunno, I think the woot-offs usually crash at the end, not the beginning" and didn't give it another thought until I just saw this thread. um, pardon me if I'm wrong, but TC, I don't even remember putting any punctuation on the thread title. Maybe I put an (one) exclamation point. Why was this edited? For lack of ANY punctuation? is that what you meant by "excessive punctuation"--that you were ADDING some? otherwise, I don't get it. I followed forum rules to not overdo punctuation.

They usually sell one item per day. It's generally a lot of random stuff, sometimes new, sometimes refurbished, almost always a decent deal. When they sell out of one item, that's it for the day. However, every now and then, they have a woot-off, in which they keep going for a certain period of time (usually a day or two, I think), every time one product runs out, a new one is immediately put up. These are usually pretty fun to keep an eye on, but beware...lack of sleep can ensue from too much wooting.

I'm going to try selling them on ebay. Did anyone else think this was the worst woot-off ever?

I almost bought 3 sets of the wine bags at the end to use for Christmas present wrapping. Maybe not the worst woot-off ever, but certainly not the best. And were there any Roombas? I don't recall seeing any.
