Call to Duty 4 360

Anyone have this game yet and if so, how is it?

I've heard many people rave about it but mostly for the multplayer. The campaign is very short.

If you have a 360, its a must buy for your system. Best Buy online has it right now for $37.99 this week. Far better then Halo 3 in my opinion.

I just picked it up last night. The campaign so far seems pretty easy. I have not tried the online portion yet though my brother in law says it's filthy good.

Even if I wouldn't have got it on sale this week I would say it is better than Halo 3. The campaign is decent, but the mulitplayer is a really good time.

It's pretty rad. It was, and still might be on sale at Best buy for 37.99. Multiplayer is pretty fun, except I'm still not great at 2 thumbing it.

I think the game is pretty terrible. right on the cover, "Modern Warfare", too bad 70% of the guns are 15-20 years old. A 1 shot head shot is out of luck. 3/4 times it took 2 or more bullets to kill someone with a "head shot"

 

In my opinion its a must miss game. had it for 2 weeks and couldn't have been happier to get rid of it.

It's modern compared to the rest of the COD series. Plus most rifles in service are 30 years old anyways and modern body armor can help survivability a bit.

 

MP is a tad nade spamming.

Not everyone is going to like every game but COD4 got great revews and also sold very well. 3rd highest rated 360 game on gamerankings.com:

It would be hard for me to recomend to someone to NOT to try this game out if they are a FPS fan.

I love COD (for my PC, sorry) but multiplayer shooters just don't do it for me due to the (a) rampant cheating that is usually involved (yeah, I know there is punkbuster and stuff) and (b) I actually work for a living and don't have the time to play all day long like most of the people on the servers.

 

If I ever play online, I usually make up my own server for my brother and cousin to play on and then add some bots (if the game allows it)

try single player on veteran difficulty then its epic

I have heard good things about it, but the guy I talked to had it on PS3. Heard good reviews most places also. I always trust EGM's reviews. If a game has flaws they will usually name them in their review. Also it isn't as popular as Halo 3 so that should cut down on the 12 year old trash talking punks and cheaters.

I quit playing Halo3 when I bought COD4 on a friend's recommendation. I absolutely love the multiplayer and I doubt I'll ever go back to H3 again. I've always disliked bunny hopping going all the way back to when I first started playing FPS games online. I still love Gears, games with a bit more depth to the gameplay appeal to me more. I highly recommend this game. Granted with XBOX Live's troubles the past 10 days it's been a tad irritating, but COD4 blows away Halo3 multiplayer in my opinion.
