    God, I love reading these game threads after the fact. The negativity for a team that had won 13 of 15 going into today is just hilarious. So many dumb comments I can't quote then all.

    Burnes has been the best pitcher in baseball this year. The 2 missed starts hurt him in some counting stats, so maybe it isn't as clear how good he's been. Which I know the people of vote actually care about those stats. If he isn't an all star it's an absolute crime. He has a .97 FIP for chrissake. That is an absolutely incredible number.

    Lol, Stearns has never had a disaster contract. The only possiblity is Yelich if he's injured the whole time, but we aren't there yet.

    White Sox got: Dylan Cease Eloy Jimenez Yoan Moncada Michael Kopech Victor Diaz Luis Basabe For 3 years of Chris Sale and 2 1/2 years of Jose Quintana. So something like that for both, or more considering more control even though neither are good as Sale was when he was traded. I think they're more valuable than Quintana was when traded though.

    Well we traded for K-Rod, traded him twice and signed him four times in FA. But didn't acquire him via trade twice, so not him. He was my first thought.

    Yep, and he'll be out fishing the next day. I live roughly a mile from his place in the Northwoods. When they say "cabin", it is underselling it. He lives in a $3 million, 5,000-square-foot home on a lake up here. Beautiful spot ... perfect quiet spot for an outdoorsy guy with a young family. I'm sure he decided to give it one more go to say that he pitched for his hometown team, but if he gets DFA'd, he'll likely be more than happy to hang it up. Is he on the Three Lakes/Eagle River chain? Just curious. I have a place there.
