    Do they still use class ranking for admissions? I would think that being smart in a good school would actually be a detriment instead of smart in a bad school since you would rank higher in the bad school than you would in a good school. If you want to go to a certain school, but can't get in I would think you can transfer in later. My brother transfered from Lax to Madison and got into Madison easily since he had good grades in Lax.

    The defense doesn't have a chance to field a HR and like Russ said BABIP is used to measure how "lucky" a player has been at finding holes in the defense.

    The Brewers are 13-10 at home, but have a 3-3-2 record in series at home. They are 13-18 on the road, but have a 5-4-1 record n series on the road. Maybe they should just not get swept on the road.

    You download a 2nd web browser only because you are having problems accessing BF.net with IE.

    Having the same problem. Also getting logged out when returning to Main topic pages. Works better in the Firefox browser though. Seems to be an IE problem.

    I think the focus should shift to winning games and see where things end up at the end of the year. I don't think we would get 88 wins even if we still had Gallardo. That has nothing to do with our current "woahs." I didn't think we were better than 86 to begin with.

    Per ESPN On-base percentage (H + BB + HBP) divided by (AB + BB + HBP + SF) So his OBP woudl be .250.

    They do have to do with circumstances, but there are only very select times when an IBB should actually be used. Usually the "logic" for an IBB seems to be setting up a double play or not letting the other team's best hitter beat you. Even the best hitters get themselves out over half the time. Yost is typically on the lower end of IBB year to year so I doubt it is as much not having the chance as not being a guy who believes in IBB.

    Lets not get carried away here. Yost is still far from one of the guys who issues IBB with any regularity. In fact it is so out of character I am going to go ahead and blame this one on Simmons.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Interesting to see some of the names who issue lots of IBB. Smart managers like Hurdle, Black, Cox, and Gonzales are all at the top. I have no idea how anybody could justify one IBB everyother game. A "good" IBB is always questionable at best in my opinion.
