  1. Shoebuy and Zappos are pretty good. I usually go to stores to try on shoes and can never find the ones I like so I go online and buy. Shoebuy usually ships overnight for free.
  2. Yeah that color shoe crap has been going on for a few years at least.
  3. I was really looking forward to Gamel having a good year and taking RF away from Aoki partway through the season.
  4. There is no reason to have Gonzalez at 1B for any reason other than a dire emergency. His bat is only excusable if he is somewhere where his defense will cover it. It shouldn't be to difficult to find a better bat at 1B.
  5. No, it says a clinic in Florida. We don't know for sure it was Bosch. He is a public figure. This is how things, unfortunately, work.
  6. I think the ice is probably soft and a little slower and I believe that would favor Wisconsin.
  7. So I can't have a nice bookmark sidebar like Firefox. Other than that I would use Chrome. I just use my bookmark sidebar a ton.
  8. I care because I want my players playing for my team. I don't want them going all out and getting hurt in meaningless games like the winter leagues or the WBC.
  9. Does Google Chrome finally have bookmarks on the side or are they still in a drop down menu?
  10. Snorkeling in St. Thomas? I went snorkeling in St. Croix years back. Not the same island but pretty close.
  11. They sited ratings as one of the problems with wrestling in the Olympics. I hard a very very hard time even finding wrestling on tv.
  12. Didn't sound good for next year either. Sounds like an ongoing thing.
  13. We also saw Fiers get lit up by MLB hitting for a month straight.
  14. Well at least they kept the modern pentathlon. This is very shocking to say the least.
  15. There is no guarantee he wasn't using something in the past and there is no guarantee he isn't using something now. And there is no guarantee that if he was using that it had much to do with how he played anyway. They have really struggled to show proof that these lower grade PED even help much. It may not help a player hit a ball better or further but it will help them stay on the field more if they have nagging injuries.
  16. No way he should be a late inning pinch hitter for Gamel. Gonzalez is a good hitter for a SS or maybe a catcher but that's it.
  17. There is no guarantee he wasn't using something in the past and there is no guarantee he isn't using something now.
  18. Maybe I misread this but just to be clear, Bosch may or may not be the leak. It is just speculation but would explain a lot. I am actually more interested if people care or not about athletes using performance enhancing drugs. I really don't as long as there is a show of major sports caring so that kids don't use them as much. If there was a way to keep sports 100% clean I would be all for that. However, I believe and accept that the athletes will always be a step or two ahead of the testers. At this point I think you have to keep it in the back of your mind there is a good chance that your favorite athlete is using something to gain an edge that may not be legal or at the very least not within the spirit of the rules.
  19. $27m would be 3rd highest. Per Cot's Average annual value The highest-paid players in baseball history, by average annual value: 1. Roger Clemens, $28,000,022 (2007) 2. 20. I don't really see how this contract is a hometown discount. They may have got a year or two less but they sure paid enough yearly. Tied for 4th largest dollars by year. Pays him till his mid 30's.
  21. My guess is that they are pursuing legal action against whomever leaked the failed test. If this is in fact Bosch, and it may not be, they probably really can't say much about it.
