    I would say that this is crap, but terrible things happen to the teams I root for all the time. I mean, the only thing worse than Braun being suspended for 65 games would be the Brewers dumping him AND all their money for Ike Davis.

    as one that lives 75 minutes south of the city, this was devastating news to me...they are moving the stadium into the vortex of traffic hell and the reasons given are mostly bullcrap. for one, they told the public that a lack of public transit directly to the stadium is a problem at turner field---this is true, the nearest train station to Turner Field is a mile away. The only problem is that the train doesn't freaking run to Cobb county AT ALL! which means no mass transit in anyway. This will also take an iffy area just south of downtown an literally turn it into the set of the walking dead---crap, maybe they can make it a walking dead theme park or something because this will total that area once and for all. I hate the braves for doing this...i hate the falcons for doing this too...Georgia is dying for public revenue for infrastructure and education and we waste money replacing new stadiums. unreal. well, i guess i'm happy everyone in roswell will only have to drive 20 minutes now instead of 45. good for them. I won't be going to braves games anymore.

    Maldonado has been terrible this season... Replacing our terrible first baseman with our good catcher and our good catcher with a terrible one would be a lateral move at best The team should sign morneau, or resign hart, and hope for 400 ab's and give the rest of the ab's to whichever backup plan they keep arounf

    After Last night, Juan is Ops'ing .801 as a Brewer with a decent enough .320 obp. He's not a world beater, and good lord is he terrible at first base. But he's got a lot of potential. In fact, I've been really happy with him---he's exactly the kind of guy the Brewers should have playing 1b right now...he might turn out to be something if he figures out how to catch a frackin' baseball, and in the meantime, he's going to help us get a top 5 draft pick. If he just relaxes a little more a the plate, I think he could at least be Mark Trumbo...He pretty much is now, actually. A steal, methinks. If he would just catch. the. Ball.

    I'm aware that gindl and Davis are hot, I'm frustrated too... No matter how you slice it, there will be no more than one starting outfield job available in the next three years, so these guys need to distinguish themselves. Doug may be posturing. Doug may be planning on trading him in the offseason. Doug may think this team can win next year, etc...

    i get the frustration, but the young outfielders are getting tons of opportunity to play with Braun out...and there's no reason you couldn't just rest aoki and gomez some over the next two months if you need to see more sub .600 ops hitting from our top prospects

    I love the idea that mark would just straight up give away braun's money... That's the way to go As for the jersey thing, that's crazy--- Hernandez was released and is a murderer. Braun is a jerk and an idiot. Still a member of the brewers as well. Give his 4 million bucks away.

    As a fan of the brewers, this is the best case scenario. This season was over anyway. Braun has some soul searching to do. Hopefully he comes back having learned his lesson.

    Skaggs would be great... Unfortunately, it makes too much sense to actually happen. I'm starting to worry that the cubs are going to flip garza and samardjia before Melvin trades yo, however, which will negatively affect the market.

    I worry about segura's batting average going forward just because of the amount of infield hits he currently legs out. He's leading the league in infield hits by a wide margin and its because he beats out routine grounders to short. I think it's awesome that he can do that, but I don't think it's a Long term repeatable ability...in other words, if he loses the smallest amount of speed, and he will, his game will lose that aspect. Then he will need the extra power... Speaking of which, I think trout will hit 40 hrs a year in the not to distant future...and Harper and Machado will be consistent 30 home run guys. I don't think segura ever will be. And that's the biggest difference for me...

    Narveson was removed from the 40 man, Estrada left his last rehab start with an injury, Figaro has been terrible... I could be wrong, but I don't think this is a spot start

    Trout...segura would be fourth on this list for me, but I do think these are the superstars of this generation
