  1. Call it what you want... I went to two BOBBLEHEAD games last year, sat in section 215 and 217 and paid $50 per seat. This season, one year later, those same seats are $82 for the games I wanted to go to. That is just too big of an increase from one season to the next. Someone above mentioned that the bobbles would be worth $30+. A few years ago they had value, but Brewers bobblehead after market prices have taken a dive the past couple of years. You can get most for $10 or less these days. That is what I'll be doing, why pay $82 to get a bobble when in a month, I can get it for $10? This year's Frelick will be $10 in a couple weeks after release, and the Uecker probably in the $20 range. Again, I don't really care what the Brewers prices are in comparison to other teams. Brewers games are my reality, and to me, the cost is prohibiting me from attending games like I used to.
  2. Grienke is toast.
  3. If he's a free agent in 2028, odds are, the last in a Brewers uniform will be 2026, as I'd think we'd be trading him for the 2027 season rather than get nothing in return when he walks. So that means we only really have him for 2 years after this one. That saddens me, but also reminds me to enjoy him while we can!
  4. I'm to the point of not liking to see Frelick, Bauers, Dunn, and Wiemer in the line-up at all. How close are we to letting Tyler Black show what he has? Kid does nothing but hit at every level, when is it time? I'm ready!
  5. I can't be the only one losing faith in Wiemer? I am starting to think that our original 3 can't miss outfielders are all 3 going to miss after all. Wiemer is lost, completely lost. I think having him play most of the season last year with the crew when he obviously wasn't ready was probably pretty bad for his development in the long run. Mitchell can't stay healthy. Will we ever see what he truly brings to the table? Sal seems to be nothing more than an average at best guy, what does he have to offer? Suddenly, the position we thought we were stocked at, isn't stocked after all. (at least not as of right this moment) Am I wrong, too early to judge?
  6. Lots of teams having that issue didn't come into this season with our kind of roster construction either. We knew we were susceptible to this from the get go, but were hoping to grab some luck. We have had no such luck.
  7. CC is phoning in the line-ups to Murphy.
  8. Tyler Black is ready and waiting in the wings. Still pretty disappointed that he didn't start with the big squad, but his time is coming.
  9. He isn't being hired because of his legal issues and what occurred, has nothing to do with his pitching talent. If he were a boy scout, he'd be pitching in MLB right now. Not sure what lines you are reading between, but it seems those lines are different than the rest of us.
  10. I think that is completely false, and unless you have talked to all 30 owners, that is just an opinion. IMO, the owners are flat out afraid of what signing him will do for public relations, etc. I don't believe it has anything to do with his talent whatsoever. I also have not spoken to all 30 owners, but I believe that my opinion is closer to the mark than yours.
  11. Why don't you want to give credence to those people, in the end, they were right. Nothing wrong with admitting the organization made a mistake. Even though we don't like to admit it, the naysayers are often right, whether we like it or not. They are often wrong too, but that is another story all together. Simple fact is, a lot of people here didn't like the piecing together of the rotation with unproven, rebound, or injured guys. It was going to take a lot of luck, and I mean A LOT OF LUCK, to get through the season on what we had in place. That luck ran out, and we aren't even a month into the season yet. We do often hit on a lot of those type players, but to do it in such large quantity all at once was a wish and a hope that hasn't worked out. Win loss record looks great, but is this sustainable? How soon before the bullpen absolutely blows up? It's going to be an interesting ride this summer, I hope we all survive!
  12. Yup, the T-Rats used to pride themselves on affordable family fun, but that just isn't the case anymore. If you buy the bleacher seats for a family of four, pay for parking and get food and snacks for everyone ($10 each for food, but that is conservative), you are looking at a minimum of $105. That doesn't include letting the kids do the kids stuff like the big new slide and blow up slides, etc. Also wouldn't include any type of souvenirs. WAY cheaper than a Brewers game, but still, when you are talking over $100 (more like $125) to go to a game, a lot of families won't be doing that 5 or 6 times a summer.
  13. Wiemer's at bats are just plain painful. This can't go on.
  14. That was just gross. Plenty of time there, just not good.
  15. I think you have to put him out there, and have someone ready in the bullpen at the first sign of trouble.
  16. Yeah, I don't believe anyone is surprised to be honest.
  17. Just say it! We won't bite well, actually, some here will... I agree by the way. Talk about a guy who would help us right away, I mean like right now, and dirt cheap.
  18. Yup, playing games with the fans is also the culprit. This was not an issue until recently, the prices on the Brewers website didn't fluctuate. It's ridiculous.
  19. It was the 8/17 game.
  20. I like to get tickets in the 215 and or 217 section. Last year, paid $50 per seat on the Brewers website, didn't use stubhub or another service. Looked at those same tickets for this year: $82 per seat. Yeah, no thanks. Your Milwaukee Brewers, pricing people out, one fan at a time...
  21. It means Counsell isn't the only manager that can win one run games.
  22. I'm looking forward to seeing this kid Jones pitch, just hope we figure him out.
