  1. It would be a big mistake bringing Lara up to play 2 times a week. Bring him up, let him be the starter until he proves otherwise. Sal shouldn't have a lock on a position if he plays like he has... Hoping that as soon as the super 2 nonsense passes, that we'll see Lara starting every day, and Jett taking over 3B as well.
  2. Wow, one single play completely turns the tide of a game.
  3. If you go to T-Rats games, Payne is far from forgotten or lacking attention. He is a major fan favorite, and on autograph Sundays, his line is just as long as Fischer and Pena. Those three guys are even put away from the others to accommodate their lines... Last auto Sunday, people started lining up in the 4th inning to get in Payne's line early.
  4. No way I can root for that douchebag in a Brewers uniform. Nope, I want nothing to do with that idiot.
  5. Appealing a one game suspension for a relief pitcher is stupid. Sit your game, learn a lesson, and move on. All an appeal really does is draw even more attention to what he did. Just let it go...
  6. PCAA got away with it, sure. But Abner's incident is a separate issue, not related to PCA. I'm fine with the one game suspension. Sit for a game, learn a lesson, and hopefully he grows up a little in the process.
  7. ...and 1000 thumbs down reactions. The fact that he is still allowed to post here is disappointing.
  8. I think we can all agree that neither was necessary, and tomorrow is another day...
  9. I do find it hard to believe that Marmol was out there doing anything that was suggested. If that is true, MLB should probably do a little investigating. In the end, a player, even if provoked, made a mistake, embarrassed himself, and hopefully it all just goes away. There is probably a chance he gets a fine from MLB, and if what he says is true, hopefully the Cards (Marmol) get a little something for their part of what happened too.
  10. I've seen him play quite a few games in person this season, I have yet to see him taunt the opposing team, or do anything even close to that level of douchery...
  11. I'm not going to hate on Abner from this day forward, I'm sure after thinking about it, and probably getting talked to by a couple of his teammates, he will understand why that just wasn't cool. I hope everyone puts it behind them, especially Uribe, and we move forward. Young guys live and learn...
  12. HIGHLY doubtful. The majority of them were probably embarrassed as well.
  13. So finishing the game with a W wasn't enough for Lil' Abner? He had to make it all about himself. That's what it comes down to. "Hey everyone, look at me, I can do stupid little vulgar dances after we put a beating on you!" Doesn't add up. He lost control of his emotions once again, did something that is embarrassing to both himself and the team, and we have people here standing up for him? It was a douche move. I'm a Brewers fan to the core, but I can't stick up for that behavior, just can't do it. Imagine if a player did that to us after a game where they already beat us 6-0... I doubt it would go down to smoothly for us Brewers fans. Celebration is fine, I have no issue with emotion and living in the moment......................to a point. He crossed a line, made himself and the team look foolish, and now tomorrow, someone just might wear a fastball because of it.
  14. Just because a player is an emotional player, doesn't mean that anything that player does should be accepted, or tolerated. It was in poor taste, and extremely immature for this level. All it really proves is that he has a lot of growing up to do on the mental side of things.
  15. 100% and more importantly, he embarrassed the team.
  16. He's not wrong in the least. That was embarrassing. Embarrassing for the team, embarrassing for the Mgr, and embarrassing for Uribe. That is something that might happen with a 12 year old in little league. Old and white has nothing to do with this. Had this been CC as our manager, or any other Mgr in MLB, they would have a problem with this. Had it been Mcgill doing that absurd embarrassing little "look at me" dance, Murphy would have had the same reaction. Stop with the race baiting nonsense.
  17. I'm to the point that I just can't stand watching Uribe pitch, and then he goes and does that stupid little dance thing? What a douche move. I hope Murphy gives it to him good. Uribe has been doing this long enough to know better, what an embarrassment.
  18. Apparently. I've seen this a few times here in regards to Crow, as well as BROOKE Burke a few times as well.
  19. Yeah, just got back from seeing it, and I found it entertaining, but that is the best praise I can give it. Worth seeing in the theater for sure if you like Star Wars in general.
  20. I see no reason to play Perkins, at all, anymore. If he is going to stick on this roster, use him for pinch running only. He needs to go, but apparently, he's staying, at least until we see fit to bring up Lara and/or Jett. Go with Bauers, Chourio, Mitchell and Frelick and be done with it. I don't even think Frelick deserves to be playing daily anymore. Go with Bauers, Chourio, and Mitchell daily. It's time to make a change, and Perkins and Frelick both, no longer deserve starts
  21. Durbin is gone man, accept it and move on...
  22. Anyone ventured out to see the new Star Wars flick yet? I feel I need to go, but I'm not really expecting much to be honest. I'll probably check it out this week.
