  1. If YTTV offered FSN at a rate somewhere in the $5-$10 per month range I would gladly pay it. But I'm not giving up YTTV and going back to cable just for Brewers games. I don't follow basketball so thankfully missing Bucks games is not a problem for me. If YTTV doesn't offer FSN at all I will not be watching the Brewers on TV. Since I will have MLB.tv I'll still have lots of baseball to watch. Just couldn't do that, jus couldn't...
  2. so then, we can be assured that most of his time will be spent in the OF, right?
  3. It will be interesting to see what happens when the new administration takes over...
  4. I'm with turbo on this one. Maybe because we're from the same generation? Just turn on the TV and click to 31..and the Brewers! Also my eclectic taste in sports, so the niche channels offered get utilized often. yup, I'm 55.
  5. My total bill is $206 per month for spectrum. That includes internet and phone (landline) which isn't necessary, but dropping the landline will add $20 per month to the total bill. Make sense of that. We don't have any HBO or movie channels. We do have DVR, and 3 cable boxes. My price will surely go up when my 2 years are done, which I think is May. At that time, I will have to call and try an negotiate my new "deal." I hate doing that every two years, but it is the nature of the beast. If I don't call, my bill will probably jump $50 or more. They hope that people are too lazy to call, and I'm sure they are right a lot of the time.
  6. I have spectrum, I am good. It has always been worth it to me to pay a little extra to have the reliability and assurance that I get to watch the Brewers. Honestly, I can't be as cavalier as most of you about watching the Crew. I need to watch, radio doesn't do it for me, neither does reading about them online. I need to see them.
  7. I found it interesting that at the end of this article, it mentioned how much money he made in his career. Is that normal? I've never noticed that before. Is this a new stat for the stat guys to argue and anguish over? Howie Kendrick announced on his personal Instagram page Monday that he is retiring from baseball. Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo told reporters last week that he was open to bringing Kendrick back for the 2021 season, but the 37-year-old will instead hang up his cleats for good after a 15-year major league career that also included stints with the Angels, Dodgers, and Phillies. "I will always love the game of baseball and will constantly reflect on the lifelong memories made," Kendrick wrote beside a picture of his family and the 2019 World Series trophy. "For now, it’s time to drop the mic and enter a new stage of my life. Thank you!" He goes out as a career .294/.337/.430 hitter, and with his total career earnings topping $71 million. 8. I think it would be nice if the Bucs won the super bowl, beating the Packers in the NFC championship game on the way. lol
  9. It's been boring that last couple winters before this as well. I don't know, the off season we signed Moose and Grandal was pretty cool... Year before that it was Yelich and Cain...
  10. COVID sucks on so many different levels...
  11. For 2 years of control, yeah, I think that is an overpay once you added Turang.
  12. I don't think that him leaving will make any kind of impact at all... best of luck to him though.
  13. Add Castillo to their possible trade list... The 2020 season really put a damper on all the moves they made last off season. Bauer, Gray and Castillo are possibly the best 1-3 in MLB. Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that, in addition to Sonny Gray, the Reds have also discussed Luis Castillo with teams in potential trades. The Reds were one of the more aggressive teams last offseason, but Heyman says of the club that "the belt tightening this winter is clear." Castillo is eligible for arbitration for the first time this offseason, so he will be getting more expensive. That said, the 28-year-old is under team control through 2023 and is one of the better starters in the National League, so the ask for him is "appropriately high," per Heyman. Out of Gray and Castillo, Gray would seem to be the much likelier pitcher to be dealt. RELATED: Sonny Gray SOURCE: Jon Heyman on Twitter Dec 20, 2020, 11:13 AM ET
  14. The McRib is like Nickelback... Everyone says they hate it (them), but when it (they put out new albums) comes back , they sell millions!!!
  15. According to Jon Heyman of MLB.com, Sonny Gray is generating more trade interest than any other player on the Reds. While there have been inquiries on Eugenio Suarez and others, it's Gray that has drawn significant interest from teams that are looking for upgrades to their starting rotation. The right-hander is owed around $10 million for each of the next two seasons and also carries an affordable $12 million club option for the 2023 season. The Padres are one team known to be interest in acquiring the 31-year-old hurler. SOURCE: Jon Heyman on Twitter Dec 18, 2020, 6:43 PM ET
  16. Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Nationals have spoken to the Reds about third baseman Eugenio Suarez. Heyman notes that there's nothing imminent here and the two sides aren't believed to be anywhere close to a deal yet. Suarez, 29, smashed 49 home runs for the Reds in 2019, but slashed just .202/.312/.470 with 15 long balls and 38 RBI over 57 games during the truncated 2020 campaign. Carter Kieboom could make sense as part of a possible return to the Reds. SOURCE: Jon Heyman on Twitter Dec 18, 2020, 6:36 PM ET I'd be in on this guy!!!
  17. Brewers manager Craig Counsell told reporters on Friday that they are open to playing Daniel Vogelbach at first base in 2021 if there is no designated hitter in the National League. Vogelbach came over to the Brewers after he was designated for assignment by the Mariners, and the left-handed hitter performed well with a .328/.418/.569 line in 67 plate appearances over 19 games. He's a well below-average runner and poor defender, so Milwaukee would have to be very comfortable with his offense in order to put him in the lineup if there's no DH in the National League this season. 18. Exactly. The few dollars saved isn't worth the hassle. agreed. The hassle of changing streaming sites on a constant basis isn't worth it to me either. I like turning on the TV, finding the channel and watching the game, not worrying from day to day, week to week, month to month, if I can watch a damn Brewers game. I am a cable guy, and don't feel I'm missing out on what the other 1000 services have to offer. There is only so much time in a day...
  19. I still have spectrum, and I don't miss a game. It costs more, but I like the reliability. My price deal ends in May though, if they contine to raise their price, I might be forced to look elsewhere, even though I don't want to do so.
  20. I dont know if I believe that... There's a rumor that we're interested in Joc, he wouldnt be cheap, so we have money somewhere. rumors are rumors... I'll believe we will spend some money when we actually spend some money.
  21. both are probably ouit of our pay range.................................sadly.
  22. Most of his bad moments were because our manager used him in a questionable manner... Not sorry to see him go though.
  23. yay.
