  1. I think Wink was the very first official radio interview with Elvis if I remember my trivia correctly.
  2. I think it would take a TON to get any of the three. Kurtz is on the verge and is a total stud! Rooker is only going to get better and have you seen Soderstrom's numbers so far this season? No way they let those cost controlled players go without a king's ransom in return.
  3. Being in AA last year means nothing. Last year was not the first year this kid started to show something. We are looking at far more than a 12-15 game sample here. Jake Bauers? What is there to think about. We know what we have in him, yet we continue to roster him. I have not one doubt in my mind, not a single one, that Martinez can offer a lot more than Jake Bauers. I can think of only one reason not to have Martinez on this roster currently, and that would be because I don't see regular at bats. I can't see the organization playing him in front of our 22 million dollar paper weight Rhys Hoskins, If he stays at AAA until we finally figure out that we can use him on the big squad, at least he continues to get regular at bats there... EMJ deserves his shot, and I hope we give it to him, especially if our issue at 1B continues. We literally have nothing to lose in giving him regular at bats to see what we have.
  4. I'm not a fan of Murphy having the kids in the post game interviews. Just not a fan...
  5. Pratt at 3B? You got some inside information no one else has? He's our future SS, simple as that.
  6. I was there, live in person, I lived it, and it was gross.
  7. Well, it certainly can't hurt to find out...
  8. If that's the case, and it probably should be, who takes his place? We just have no other options at this point.
  9. He's going to deserve his shot at some point. The way Hoskins is looking, that shot could happen any day as far as I'm concerned.
  10. I'll be there all weekend, and this will be stadium #16 for me. Any tips or pointers from those who have been there before? Parking, eats, etc... Thanks!
  11. Shane Smith shut out the Guardians for six innings and struck out six in his second major league start Tuesday. Especially given all of their pitching problems at the moment, the Brewers surely have big regrets about leaving Smith available in the Rule 5 draft to be taken first overall by the White Sox. He’s allowed just two runs and four hits in 11 2/3 innings through two turns. He looks like a great find for the White Sox. He’ll face Boston next.
  12. No one is claiming he is a CY Young type pitcher, but we sure could use him about now. So far, you are as wrong as wrong can be. Go back and look at your posts. The Brewers aren't getting this guy back, they just aren't, and the FO messed this up about as bad as they could. We are trading away #7 prospects, draft picks and money to acquire pitching, and we had it right in our own back yard before we gave it away for absolutely nothing. This stunk from the day we didn't protect him, and it stinks to high heaven now. Just a ridiculous, bad, horrendous, unforgiveable mistake, that grows each time Smith takes the mound.
  13. Brewers just traded him to BAL for Mike Cameron's son.
  14. This reeks of desperation and just handing over anything the Sox wanted to get it done. Severe overpay, Yophery alone and I still would have hated it but that pick and cash just makes me want to puke. Just another consequence of giving Shane Smith away. G R O S S !
  15. Well, they must have thought he was better than Shane Smith since they just gave him away for nothing. 😡😡😡
  16. Down 5-0, I'd make Rodriguez wear this one and save the bullpen for tomorrow as much as possible. Bring Thomas in to put the icing on the cake.
  17. Way too early to panic. Lose 4, win 4, who knows what is going to happen but watching the Brewers is far better than not watching the Brewers...
  18. jopal, just curious, have you ever agreed with anyone on this board? I mean EVER? Seriously. I get it, you like to argue and taking the opposite view on every single subject is your thing, but geez, you are relentless in your approach to start something with every poster on this board. That is all, carry on.
  19. Yes, this... Bravo!
  20. Where does his velocity usually sit? 89 was the fastest I saw on the scoreboard last night, is that normal? His breaking stuff was filthy! Was a blast to watch him live.
  21. Scammed? C'mon. Let's do our best to get Woody and Myers off the IR? You think the Brewers aren't doing their 100% absolute best to get them back on the field? How can "we" as a message board contribute? Geez. They simply can't be rushed.
  22. It was a mistake, and it is just that simple. It's ok to admit that the FO made a mistake, really, it is...
