    What's the story with these horrible Giants uniforms tonight? I swear, MLB is doing it's best to come up with the ugliest unis of all time the past couple of years. Gonna be tough to beat the Padres city connect 7th grade girls softball team jerseys though.

    Double dip at the movies today. Makes a great day when you can catch two movies and both were GREAT! Sinners: Thought it was an awesome and new take on a vampire movie. Long, but didn't feel that way. The Amateur: Loved this movie from start to finish! It was hard to get used to Freddie Mercury turning into a kickass killer, but I got over it.

    Levering is meh. BA is just a guy who makes guest appearances in the Brewers booth these days... I like Rock. I like Vinnie. Dillard doesn't irritate me nearly as much as he does to most of you. He's ok.

    Not to mention, if a guy like Durbin does in fact cut off some balls that a less quick 3B might not, odds of him having to make a strong throw after cutting them off is a must, and I just don't think Durbin has that arm. If his range gets to a ball, he still has to make a strong throw, and probably even stronger if his range allows him to get to a ball that others can't, if that makes any sense...

    I just think a short 3B with a noodle arm is going to hurt us a lot more than help us in the long run. Could we get away with playing him at 3B once a week, probably, long term, nope.

    We simply can't afford to give up that many outs per game because of our 3B's arm. Just not feasible.

    Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy told reporters on Friday that Caleb Durbin will function as the team’s regular third baseman for the foreseeable future. That had been the expectation, but it’s nice to hear Murphy actually spell it out.     He had a horrendous second half last year, and has been even worse so far this year.

    Is Durbin really our next man up? I thought he didn't have the arm for 3B, or the defense in general?

    What a shock that our Dunn/Capra experiment bombed.

    I don't see him sticking even if he has a couple of decent starts. We are about to become starting pitcher rich in a short time. Peralta, Patrick, Quintana, and Priester for now with Woodruff, Cortes, Myers, Civale getting closer? Who is closest? Myers? I just don't see that we have room for Henderson for an extended stay...

    I think it would take a TON to get any of the three. Kurtz is on the verge and is a total stud! Rooker is only going to get better and have you seen Soderstrom's numbers so far this season? No way they let those cost controlled players go without a king's ransom in return.

    Being in AA last year means nothing. Last year was not the first year this kid started to show something. We are looking at far more than a 12-15 game sample here. Jake Bauers? What is there to think about. We know what we have in him, yet we continue to roster him. I have not one doubt in my mind, not a single one, that Martinez can offer a lot more than Jake Bauers. I can think of only one reason not to have Martinez on this roster currently, and that would be because I don't see regular at bats. I can't see the organization playing him in front of our 22 million dollar paper weight Rhys Hoskins, If he stays at AAA until we finally figure out that we can use him on the big squad, at least he continues to get regular at bats there... EMJ deserves his shot, and I hope we give it to him, especially if our issue at 1B continues. We literally have nothing to lose in giving him regular at bats to see what we have.

    I'm not a fan of Murphy having the kids in the post game interviews. Just not a fan...

    Pratt at 3B? You got some inside information no one else has? He's our future SS, simple as that.

    If that's the case, and it probably should be, who takes his place? We just have no other options at this point.

    He's going to deserve his shot at some point. The way Hoskins is looking, that shot could happen any day as far as I'm concerned.
