Yeah, I've noticed that for awhile. And then Charles Barkley was on Conan this week and brought it up. Said he was doing a Taco Bell ( 5 buck box, it rocks it rocks) and if a piece of cheese was misplaced in the taco they'd redo the take. And MJ gets away with a Hitler mustache. Barkley's a funny dude. The Hanes commercials have always been a bit off. Here's one off MJ and Kevin Bacon flirting. -
Yeah I have a GPS unit on my iPhone. I have a feeling cops are gonna get annoyed with pulling over people who aren't technically breaking the law. That said, I'm all for the texting law. Texting while driving isincredibly selfish, and most of all dangerous.

I believe Greinke just waived his no-trade to New York, so it doesn't look like he will block a trade there. Really? I hadn't heard that. Hello panic attacks.

Good to see you got into Community. The show really took off after Intro to Statistics (season 1 Halloween episode). A few weeks ago it was on sale for $13 on amazon. Great deal if you haven't seen all of season 1. Next week should be interesting (animated). Yep, can't wait for P&R to start up again. I still haven't watched all of season 1. I too gave up on it. But last season was gold. -
This is precisely why many of us thought Doug's thinking of "You can get more for position players in the offseason, there are more suitors" was wrong. A lot more supply as well, Doug. I'll gladly eat my hat if we wind up trading Prince for a similar package, or somehow sign him for a smallish extension 2 yr 30 m (I know, quite the longshot). As for Greinke, he's not going to NY. He'll block any trade there, so we don't have to worry about that. I'm wondering if Cliff Lee will go to the Yanks, get a offer and bring it back to Tex and just sign there after the incident with his wife. Pure speculation, but I think Nolan Ryan is gonna try to keep him at all costs. Dude has a massive ego.

That kind of surprises me, but then I went and looked at his stats and he has had 2 down years in a row now. With his versatility though, he'd be a perfect signing. He could backup Casey or Gamel at third on days he isn't catching.

He's cheaper and more versatile than both Weeks and McGehee? If we got Beckham we're not stuck trading just Rickie or Casey as he can play 2b or 3b. We could shop both. Plus, The Outfield - Your Love. I missed hearing it after Frank Cat's departure.

Yeah, 3 years ago when I was on vacation in SF I bought several packs of just plain white ankle socks from H&M. Best I've ever owned, and super cheap. I'm running low on them these days. I just tried to order some but apparently they don't have a website for the US. That's pretty hard to believe. TJ Maxx is also a really good place to buy socks. I pick up a package everytime I go there.

About a week ago on a windy night, I was going from my car to my apartment with a fresh load of laundry in a hamper. After putting all my socks away, I noticed I had a single sock. There's nothing I hate more than single socks. The next day, i went for a run and found the sock about in front of the local YMCA, at least a mile away from my house. I know it was mine because they're some sweet as Nike Shox ones that are labeled L and R. Without a doubt, the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me. Which is kind of sad. I will note I have lost trillions playing poker since that time. Worst downswing of my life. The world works in mysterious ways.

That was probably the best episode of The Office since the Wedding episode or the Date Mike episode. Really liked it. 30 Rock killed it. Again. Liz shotgunning the pizza at the end was unreal. I can't believe the renaissance the show has had this season. Community is the best show since Arrested Development, and unlike AD I've been watching since day 1 and have liked it since day 1, so I consider it my baby. Unbelievable week after week. For people that aren't watching and liked AD, go rent season 1 and then start with 2.

Bump for a pretty funny episode. Much better than last week. I thought 30 Rock killed it tonight. Brought me right back to season 1 and 2. In fact, the whole season has been pretty good. Way better than last season. Community was pretty good, but nothing like the amazingness of the last few weeks. At least you get to see Annie in her bra. Nomnomnom.

I'm very comfortable with Mat's bat. I see him as a young JD Drew (nice combo of power AND patience, which will drive the avg fan mad). It's his glove that I don't trust.

The more I'm thinking about this, the more I love it. Would have to get Crawford to replace Braun though, otherwise we're just fixing one hole to create another. 2B- Weeks LF- Crawford RF - Hart 1B- Fielder 3B- McG CF- Cain SS- Escobar C- Lucroy Rotation: Lester, Yo, Wolf, Narveson, and Cappy. Roenicke has 5 guys in the starting lineup that could easily steal 30. 2 front end starters if we were to get to the playoffs.

I would do Lester for Braun if it was contingent on signing Carl Crawford to a deal to take over in LF. I would keep Fielder for the season and make a run at it..you always have the option of dealing him at the deadline if it doesn't work out. I'd leave Gamel in AAA for a good part of the season playing 1B getting ready to take over for Prince in 2012.

2 subpar games from Bogut too. That bodes well for the future. Gooden rebounded pretty well last night. He had a good 1st quarter v the Knicks but otherwise was a negative out there. A big part of people defending the signing pointed to finally having a competent backup C, and so far that just hasn't happened. LRMaM started at C over him the game Bogut was out due to a migraine.

I've enjoyed the two Olyphant episodes and that's it. I'll watch it up until the season finale to see what happens to Michael, but then I'm done. At this point, it's hardly better than other formulaic sitcoms.
