    They should be buried for the rest of the series. Weeks can pinch run if need be, and Hall can.. do.. something? The LHP's are not even a good matchup for both. And we can't afford to suffer from inconsistent defense in a quick 5 game series.

    Dodgers Rays Red Sox White Sox Phillies Angels Cubs I hate the Angels, mostly because "baseball men" (Joe Morgan) love them so much. The Dodgers, along with the 2 Bay Area teams have always been favorites of mine.

    Russ Branyan was amazing when he was healthy. You could argue he held the team together in June. Counsell took a lot of heat for starting, but at the end of the day, he provided excellent defense and a really nice OBP. The platoon at 2nd base gave us excellent production in the second half: Durham = .369/.477 & Weeks = .378/.451. That went way under the radar. Sheets' 1-0 gem against the Padres. Awesome defensive plays in the game by Kapler, Counsell, and Weeks (run-saving).

    Yikes, Gameday was being generous. Pitch 1 was a borderline strike (still not a strike). The other 2, not so much.

    I'd consider, but that would be risky as I'm an hour and a half away.

    If Kapler were available, I'd start him and not have Hart get off the bench outside of pinch running. But since TGJ is the only other option, you have to start Hart because he at least has the ability to hit a 3 run HR. (At least I think he does.) Otherwise I keep the lineup the same. Rotation of Yo, CC, Bush.

    Yovani, CC, and Bush. Repeat. Bush is a disaster in that ballpark, and is damn good at home. Piggyback Carlos V with Yo. McClung ----------------> Closer.

    This gem probably makes him a heavy favorite for Cy Young. Personally, I consider him for MVP as well. As someone else said, we're close to .500 without him. He's pitched around 130 innings for us, and is pitching so far above the rim it is just mind boggling to think about. 3 starts in a row on three days rest. And finishes it off with a CG? Are you kidding me?!?!?! Baseball writers eat this kind of stuff right up.

    That's fine with me if we leave him off. Bush deserves to be in there. That said, Benny has nothing to be ashamed about. He gave us his best year in awhile, and pitched hurt down the stretch and kept us close most of the time (yesterday).

    He started using a smaller bat mostly after his wrist surgery I believe.

    She should be coming back soon. The episode should have covered most of her time there, since it was a 3 month program.

    Their ad for the Escalade Hybrid is one of the worst I've ever seen. "Why don't Hybrids have dvd entertainment, etc?" Umm, maybe because it's the most impractical thing imaginable to put in a car?
