  1. Mrs. Samurai threw her hat. That is why I love her!!!! ❤️ Me... I just shook my head and was trying to think what Murphy was thinking. There is the balance of telling your star closer what his limits are, and having Williams experience his limits kinetically. Maybe next time, Williams will be a little more forthcoming. On the other hand, Murphy can use this as a learning experience for both of them -- "Dude... you walked the bases loaded again. You don't have it. Let's get our other closer out there since we have another damn good one."
  2. This one is on you Murphy. Sorry this is trash
  3. This doesn't really bug me, but it is an interesting question... I picked up bicycle riding again on my late father's Giant Rapid 2. As I'm cruising along the Oak Leaf Trail in Milwaukee County, I noticed a sign that says, "No Motorized Vehicles Allowed". Is an ebike considered a motorized vehicle? This is probably a tongue in cheek question, but if ebikes are allowed, why aren't mopeds? Ebikes seem to be the same as the pedal mopeds back in the late 70's and early 80's. The only difference is the modern ones are electric.
  4. I got to sit in the Miller Lite Landing (?). It is far away, but, at least, people weren't getting up in front of me every five minutes to talk, go to the bathroom, etc. Very good time.
  5. Not that I know of. If there was, you would see there is some type of TRAN-SHAM-MOCKERY going on since the Chorizo never wins! LET'S GO!!!!! 😉😉😉😉
  6. Yikes! A double-negative! My head is spinning... 😉 Don't use no double negatives...
  7. Be wary... although Counsell has had his issues this year, I have a feeling he pulls a rabbit out of his hat and gets the Cubs in as a wild card.
  8. Rettke will not see the floor, unfortunately. I think she has played only one or two points resulting in a foot foul on her part on a serve. She is behind Ogbogu and Washington. Those two have been exceptional.
  9. I have this baseball card 😁
  10. I believe that having Pat Murphy at the helm was HUGE for his development. As has been said many times, he knows how to work with young players. I would also like to add Willie Adames and William Contreras. It is one thing to have the manager and coaches instruct, but it is another to have a mentor who is in the trenches with you. I was amazed that Chourio is one of the best outfielders. He would not have done that (in my opinion) if Adames didn't challenge him when he didn't give max effort diving for a ball earlier in the year. Adames provides one of those coefficients that isn't recorded in Statcast, nor is a category in a fantasy baseball league. Chourio is the beneficiary.
  11. I believe this is very close to the truth. If you follow the awards shows over the years, there is more focus on things that are offscreen than the story that is on screen. So, if you want good reviews, then you keep in your California test markets -- they will agree with your agenda.
  12. Deadpool and Wolverine: Not a movie to take your 5-year-old to. If you are into the transition of the Fox Marvel characters to the MCU, it is a good movie. A lot of humor, but a lot of sexual innuendo. I enjoyed it.
  13. It is not honorable to disrespect the Samurai. However, agree with you, I do. 👍
  14. Turang's defensive ability doesn't help my fantasy team. Trade him now!
  15. Hey… let’s get both of them!!! I'm not well versed enough with the talent in the farm to justify this. I’m guessing there would have to be a third team involved or the Brewers would probably have to give up six players at least.
  16. You know what? There was some awesome paint drying at the Samurai abode. It seems like that was more entertaining than the opening ceremonies.
  17. The media really wants Nebraska on top again because they were historically good... before joining the Big Ten. That, and Rhule seems to be a good story.
  18. Tua gets $212.4M. How much does Love get?
  19. Ahhh... but there are guys tearing it up in Nashville who will be able to step in and have the same success.
  20. Their solid barrel percentage recently has been total garbage. Not sure why they can't square it up more often. Perhaps they are focusing more on generating their own power instead of going with the pitch?
