I did not read the article -- I went with what was in the Tweet: Looks like I got sucked in by looking at the headlines and not reading the article. My bad... After looking at the article, here is a key piece of information I did not see by not reading the article: After reading the article, it is something I cannot relate to. I don't know what it is like to be a billionaire or a millionaire. I don't know what it is like to bust your butt and get to the show, have your picture on magazine covers, and be (at times) the face of the league. Harper seems like a jack wagon, IMHO. Castellanos has earned my respect by being willing to listen. It is too bad it costs me $15.95 for a long island iced tea at Am Fam field. Blame it on the owners, or the players. I'm sure there are some, but I have a feeling there are some that want to win. Just because the Brewers don't have a huge salary doesn't mean they don't care. We hear, "Get [Player X]! Wait.. but don't 'overpay!'" The Brewers can afford a rental and the reason they don't go after [Player X] is because they are cheap asses! Perhaps payment is a little bit different than Dollars -- teams want players, too. I wish it were as easy as piling on the owners saying they are only worried about profit. It is not that easy.

If you are ok with .269 and .310, then I'm with you. Perhaps we shouldn't be looking at who could be replacing Ortiz, but look at who can help out if Ortiz gets hurt or needs a day off.
