Preach it, brother! Think about it -- the Badgers have been "good" for decades. Minnesota suddenly has a good season, runs the table, and makes it to the playoffs???? Something the Badgers HAVE.... NOT.... DONE. If I'm a Gopher fan, I'm ecstatic. Since I'm a Badger fan, I would have to seek out an ice pick for my eye.

I turned 50 this year. I am in IT, so I try to stay up on technology as best as I can to stay in touch with my kids. My parents, in their early to mid 70's, do not embrace technology much -- mostly because it costs too much money. They get frustrated when I don't bring them 200 printed photos of our trip to the cabin. Uggh... It's the same thing that was mentioned earlier in the thread -- older folks think the young folks are screwing up a good thing, and the young folks think the older folks simply aren't relevant or can't contribute as much to society. I'll try to keep being an influence in my sphere of influence and will try to learn new things. [sarcasm]Now... Get off my lawn! Then fall Caesar...[/sarcasm]

GI Joe's were the best! wow, thanks for wasting 1 minute of my life. What the? OMG!!!! That was so bad it was funny! I wish I had that much time on my hands to put something like that together. It has had over 5M views... in 13 years.

I have been a subscriber to Playstation Vue for probably three years. I received a notice today that they will be discontinuing the service as of January 30, 2020. Looks like Youtube TV will get my subscription dollars.

OSU is very good... plain and simple. However, the few times we had a read option, and the QB (wildcat or otherwise) kept the ball, it worked well. Like many have mentioned -- the offense is too predictable and stagnant. Remember, Chryst turned down the OC job for the Dallas Cowboys. He must know what he is doing. Isn't Joe Rudolph the OC for the Badgers now? Is he calling the plays?

I have a friend in Northern Illinois that has had issues with the loss of his chickens. He said there were some hawks in the area. Follows along the same lines as an owl, I suppose.

Maybe a little off topic but they should have torn it down and built a new stadium, they could have built it big enough to keep their season ticket base. It would still be Lambeau Field, clinging to that structure wasn't a good idea as it is not a great stadium. But like I said earlier they have marketed it well so from a revenue standpoint I guess it has been a solid decision so far, not so great for the fans though. This begs the question: what makes something a good... or great stadium? There must be something that is glaring that is an issue. We get two different sides of the story whenever a stadium is built: let's get something brand new, shiny, is more functional, and has more luxury box seats vs. OMG! Tax payer money is being spent to build a new stadium.

This gets me on a tangent! For D E C A D E S my SO has used the word "sangwiches" where the rest of us would say "sandwiches." The only other person I've ever heard say it that way is his brother, so I'm guessing they learned it at home. They grew up in Kenosha with a German/Polish dad and Italian mom. The only place I've ever seen the word sangwich was - of all places - on a food cart at Chase Field when we took an off-season tour there in 2007. Have any of you ever heard "sangwich" in place of "sandwich"? No... weird. However, my father-in-law, who grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota, "warshes" his clothes.

This. I was in a pickup truck helping my dad move pallets. I really didn't pay attention to Badger football before that game -- and I was 12. Because of that game, from that moment forward, I was a Badger fan.

When runners are on base, there is a better chance of moving runners if the ball is put in play. That doesn't happen with strikeouts. However, a K is better than a double play...

I think the Northwestern film will provide the Badgers with a blueprint on how defenses will play them. Obviously it depends on the O-line and Coan's ability to get the ball to the wideouts. He struggled against Northwestern, but I think he will be better prepared.

Since there was such a huge response to the Survivor thread, I thought I would start one asking if anybody watches Masked Singer... Last year, my daughter figured out the winner, and I knew who was in second place. I figured out one of the four people eliminated so far.

Yikes! You can't come up with stories like that. Wow! This is our third totaled car since May. Two used ones and the new one. Plus there were two other accidents in there since the beginning of the year. I'm sure if I biked to work, something would happen to that, too. LOL!

The government would love for players to get paid. Why? Because of the taxes the players would have to pay. W2 (probably not a 1099 Miscellaneous) Let's say they get paid -- they would become employees of the University, wouldn't they? How would that work with the transfer portal? Would they have to ask for their release? Also, they would have to file a tax return in each state. If the only reason the athletes are at school is to play sports, do you think they really want to pay an accountant / tax advisor to help them with that? So, let's say 50K. Take away probably 20K for taxes. How about agents? They will get their 5% or 10% cut.

I am in the southwest side of Milwaukee and still like getting some channels OTA. They are going to be going to 4K OTA in the next year or so. I have a flat antenna upstairs with a booster, but it doesn't pull in some channels (58 for example). I'm debating about getting a small external antenna and use the cables left behind from the dish. Any suggestions for small, external, non-powered antennas that I could mount to my dish?
