  1. That's kind of what I figured, Trombone, a mental inventory kept by the drivers as to whom tips well. There is a Pizza Hut near me that usually gets the food here in 20 minutes when I order it online. I figure that my tips are decent to get my pizza that quickly.
  2. As a manager of Pizza Hut I've always wondered, with all of our information on your restaurant computer, do you have a little comments section like the doctors did for Elaine on Seinfeld? Drivers come back and enter a note, "poor tip again" or am I just crazy? I just figured that when I call, you have my delivery information pulled up simply from my phone number.
  3. Many a Stanley Cup faithful have poo-pooed my argument That's because the Stanley Cup is the best trophy in sports.
  4. I saw that the other day and I was like, what is that? He made a brat burger?!
  5. That guy bugs me. How is grilling a brat patty and putting a grilled onion on it a tailgate tip?
  6. Pretty sure I heard Jim Powell mention Gibbons on the broadcast today. Something about a nice LH bat off the bench.
  7. As Yost will explain to reporters later: "You were one pitch away, Benny."
  8. Go...and take the rest of the NBA with you.
  9. That's why you eat them cold, right out of the can.
  10. You don't have to be insane. But, you have to realize (like I do) that there will always be the people who put it down for everything that's not about the music (hair, makeup, clothes). Granted, there are those who put it down for the music too. I like that genre of music and to this day support it as I can. I can see where some like to slag on the genre, as it's not "in" or "trendy" these days. I read most of the music threads here (Lollpalooza, for example) and wonder "what's wrong with these people"? Music is so personal that no one should ever criticize someone else's listening preferences, you know? I just stay out of their threads and let them discuss what they like. Note, I'm not singling anyone out here, I just wanted to make a comment.
  11. I feel this is only relevant if we're discussing pitching arm.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  12. Shouldn't we be watching the Brewers, Ross?
  13. Whatever the opposite of <3 is, that's my take on Santo. Berkman's reaction was great. Those camera shots of the lightning were incredible.
  14. They can go ahead and call that Cubs game any minute now, it is official. Oh yeah, 2-0 Houston.
  15. Cubs in a delay as rain and tornado warnings are issued through the area.
  16. I was quite interested in Rocklahoma and would've loved to be there. But that's just the white trash in me. I really need to become a hipster and break free from the white trash crowd.
  17. A fine stereotype, but not entirely true, Ry.
  18. I was going to see Poison in Madison last month, but tickets were almost $50 and I've seen them enough to know their show. They're a great live band and have it down and after touring almost non-stop for some time now. I don't know about the crowd acting like that, I'd assume it was a general admission show and then you've got everybody trying to get the best spots. I'd bet a crazy girl fight could've been rather entertaining.
  19. Halle Berry or Eva Mendes. I really can't lose.
  20. Wow, that sucks. What is it about Cub fans having to fight everybody 3-on-1?
  21. Could be our announcer.... http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/05Rd3cMa6v56E/340x.jpg
  22. Geez, Ryan Ludwick with 2 more HR tonight. STL leads Philly 6-3 in 8th. Too bad, this was a Hamels start.
  23. After all of the years they've won the division, I don't feel bad for them at all. I don't dislike them, but they're getting no sympathy over here.
  24. Griffey wearing #17 looks more odd to me than him wearing a Sox jersey. Sox up 2-0 in 6th and Griffey has both RBI. Despite my dislike of the Sox way back, I'm rooting for them in the AL for three reasons: 1. Cub fans don't like the Sox. More reason for me to root for them. 2. I'd like to see Griffey play in a World Series. 3. Many will disagree, but I love listening to Hawk.
