  1. I began caddying at the old age of 12. I think I was 13 when I started at Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield. If I recall, there were 3 levels of caddy and you started out making $7.50/round plus tip. The next level was $10 plus tip. Most of those guys gave us kids about double the rate plus a soda and candy bar at the turn. The only thing that sucked about the job was the "draw" every morning. You had to be there by a certain time or you went to the bottom of the list. The draw was a picking of numbered poker chips to determine your spot on the list for the day. The nice thing was I had about 3 regulars who would request me. Because of that, I could skip the draw and show up when the member wanted me there. The other real perk was free golf every Monday for caddies, no members. We used to show up and play all day on a beautiful course.
  2. You mean for the current woot-off? If that's what you want, just click on "the community" in woot. It shows all of today's items.
  3. Along with Depends then I suppose. Otherwise that doesn't sound like any fun post-breaking the seal. Good point, I overlooked the bathroom angle.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif
  4. I'll wear one for your entire reception if I get free beer all night.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif
  5. This is not a time for breaks.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif *Sends up the woogie signal to the skies*
  6. Loss or not, I buzz mine (not bald) every two weeks. As for the beard, I'd need more than a month to grow one that didn't look pathetic. Geez, I only shave once a week as it is.
  7. ....says the guy with a Cardinal in his avatar.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/wink.gif
  8. I am the same name every year, Damn Hippie Freaks. It started as a joke towards a friend of mine who we consider a hippie. I won the title, he left the league and the name had to stay for the defending champs. That was five years ago and I've won another title since, so the name stays. This is a league with the same core group and let me tell you, nothing is sacred and that name is fairly tame by league standards.
  9. I'm disappointed, I thought there was going to be trivia questions.
  10. The only downside is that there isn't room for a cooler of beer. Then count me out.
  11. So how does that work. -- do you watch the non-HD channels on the HD TV? -- does your TV somehow make an adjustment? I think I follow your question. Yes, you can watch the non-HD channels on the HD TV. I contacted customer service a few weeks ago about a similar issue. I'm getting my HD TV in two weeks and wanted to know how that would work with my current receiver and such. I'm going to stick with my current setup and see how it looks before I upgrade. Unlike many others, I'm not that gung-ho over HD. If you want to receive HD programming, you have to order a HD box from DirecTV. If you stick with your basic receiver, you will not be able to get their HD programming. I don't know if it's only a receiver change, but for some reason I thought my parents also had a new dish installed when they went HD.
  12. I have seen the one advertising diamonds a few times driving down through the campus and university ave. But that's it It's probably the same guy. On the west side, he just sits at Elver Park.
  13. Yuku is really bugging me in regards to logging in and linking.
  14. If they just drive around all day, what does the driver get paid? Seems like kind of a sweet job. The one I see in Madison is never even driving. The guy just sits at a park all the time.
  15. There are a few more of these sites out there that I've seen: http://www.tv-links.co.uk/listings/2 http://www.peekvid.com/ I have a question, to view some shows, I'm asked to download a plugin (on Firefox). It is a DIVX player or something like that. Anybody have experience with this, is it safe? Edit- Sorry about the links, but the linking just won't work for me. I click on the icon, fill in the blanks...and nothing.
  16. You know what other show is sweet on A&E? The First 48. That is awesome. I agree Brett. I've been a fan of that show for a while now.
  17. Is it just Pick n Save in Milwaukee area, or would they have it in Madison too? I guarantee they carry it at Woodman's West. I just bought a bottle there two weeks ago.
  18. I nearly wet myself. Save that for the "pee yourself for the playoffs" website.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif
  19. At first glance I thought you said that you were looking to sell a "toddler" before i went back and saw the rest of the sentence! Oh, there have been times when it crossed my mind!http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gif (I'm totally kidding.)
  20. I'm gonna try and sell a toddler bed on there, my sister had lots of luck selling kids toys and such.
  21. Think it's time to bust out my Jobu doll and get a bottle of booze.
  22. How about pissing razors? Boo!
  23. They are readily available. This guy is proof. He's gotta be enjoying some sort of concoction.
  24. Try and tell me drugs aren't available in prison.
  25. I'm not real fond of Hart being moved so far down in the lineup.
