    The 360 does upconvert but only over VGA or HDMI (I assume). Components can't do it.

    Blalock has some huge questions marks. The first are his home/away splits: 2005-2007 Home: .292/.356/.497/.853 Away: .244/.296/.373/.669 His average and power booth dip away from Arlington. He also has had huge platoon splits: Lefties: .216/.267/.347/.614 Righties:.289/.349/.469/.818

    1) Gross is fine in the field. There is no real proof that Gwynn is this defensive god outside of the fact he can't hit and is fast. 2) Gross isn't slow and the lineup is already plenty fast that speed is hardly a concern. And Gwynn would likely still be the 4th or 5th fastest player anyway. 3) Gwynn didn't break a 340 OBP in AAA last season and is unlikely to give you more than .330

    Hart was drafted to play 1B. His time at 3B moved him to the outfield.

    Yeah that 512 mb is the onboard RAM. The Pro bundle can be found anywhere basically, hence the Target thing. Depending upon how much time you want to wait, often Best Buy, Circuit City or even Toys R Us will have additional free games or a free second controller. There will probably be another such sale between now and Christmas, but the Target discount is always there for new card members. The Pro bundle with packaged games is suppsoedly for the winter only, but wil liekly last untilt eh next bundle is brought out.

    A few things: 1) Get the hard drive. The demos are worth it. And each demo is about 1 GB so you'll need the space. 2) Right now you get Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance free with purchase of a pro system. So for $80 more you get two full games plus the hard drive. 3) If you don't have one yet, you can sign up for a Target credit card and get 10% off of anything including a 360 4) Any of the new bundles (i Arcade label or pro bundle) has the new hardware. 5). For a possibly cheap HD solution you can pick up a VGA cable for the 360 to attach to a CRT monitor you may have to give you full HD signals.

    Well sure. But Davis could have been traded for something else. You know, something worthwhile.

    Mota has decent control unlike McClung, he's been killed by giving up home runs. Now counting on a steroid user to be able to pitch a lot at age 34 isn't good though.

    Unless Vargas brings in something really good, I think we can safely say that the Davis-Eveland trade was a bust.

    Estrada's a FA in 12 months. Mota? Eh, he could work out but his cost is $3.2 million and is a drug test away from not playing ever again.

    Why move Johnson who is a decent defender to the outfield to leave Weeks in place?

    When the Yankees have their 41 year old closer throwing to their 38 year old catcher would be my first guess when it hits.
