  1. Ehh, with Marcum and Hart crushing two balls and having them turn into outs while down 2 runs means yeah, it doesn't seem like great chance. WE like 15%
  2. I said this to my wife last night. He has a massive gut. He was never small, but he looks at least 20-30 lbs heavier than when he was here. I think he has put on weight but I also think they cut the Yankee uniforms in such a way to make heavy guys look heavier. Probably a Steinbrenner thing to get David Wells to lose weight..
  3. I prefer to actually try and win next season and not start taking apart the team.
  4. They only have one lefty reliever, Paterson and so wanted to save him for Fielder. Loading the bases via walk is always bad idea, since it forces the pitcher to throw strikes and hitters have a huge advantage. Kotsay isn't that good of a hitter. Not wanting Ziegler to face him makes sense, not brining in another pitcher there doesn't. Also why you didn't have the wheel play on with Lucroy and the obvious squeeze, or at least order a pitch out (with Yuni on 1B even) I don't get.
  5. Someone should be up in the pen right now, Hawkins at 30 pitches is a bad thing.
  6. Gibson, if you are going to remove Hudson, do it before Weeks and Hairston, not when Yuni is up to hit.
  7. Bunting here would be fine, except Yuni can't bunt--reason # 318 he shouldn't hit in front of Lucroy
  8. The mix of crowd noise and announcers on TBS sounds way off. Its like they are broadcasting in a phone booth. Greinke looks shaky with his fastball
  9. Lucroy is a career .260 hitter while Gallardo is a .218 hitter which is what you're really focusing on with a man at 3B. It is questionable that walking Lucroy is agood move since it would cause Yo's BA to go up with a man on 1B and he has decent power.
  10. Now that was a clear bunting situation and Yuni wasn't bunting. Maybe Roenicke has learned Yuni can't bunt? Of course he should have been hit for there with Counsell bunting but hey a 3 run lead I'll let it go
  11. Pitching to him isn't a bad decision. Having Kennedy at 110 pitches do so is
