  1. Assuming Anderson's okay, he'll be available on the 20th. Guerra's eligible to be off the DL by then too. I don't think they would pitch Anderson on 4 days rest. They need to call up somebody on the 20th, make it a bullpen game or have somebody make a spot start on the 19th and have Peralta pitch on the 20th.
  2. I'm thinking a lefty is brought up that is not on the 40 man, maybe Suter or Wang, since both of them will have to be protected if they don't want them exposed to the rule 5 draft. Hader a possibility as well.
  3. Interesting, also added Tyler Cravy as the 26th man today. Somebody will have to be removed from the 25 man after today's games but doesn't have to be Cravy.
  4. Along with the hitting I have been impressed with the lack of strikeouts, only 3 in 27 plate appearances. Can't imagine he keeps that up but hopefully it is a sign of things to come.
  5. Noticed over the weekend that Alcides Escobar passed Rickie Weeks in career hits. Not something I ever expected to happen when both were still active, especially considering Weeks had about four years on him.
  6. I don't think anybody mentioned Gideon passing Erceg, it was suggested both could be at BC next year.
  7. Different order but same top 25, with the exception of Wang who they do not include as a prospect due to his year service time.
  8. Almost, he was traded to the Indians for Burnitz, which was a heck of a trade.
  9. I could see why they would consider alternative since they hit a home run with the Uecker clock and most bobble days are no longer even close to selling out. I do like the Sunday all fan giveaway as that is the day with the most kids, it was also nice they went with the Lucroy jersey and backpack for kids this year.
  10. seitzer had only one stint with the brewers organization. cirillo had two. No Seitzer had two, his second lasting longer than the first.
  11. Kind of of a technical question but if the Brewers really like one of these guys that hasn't previously been on the 40 man couldn't they just add them before the season ends and then outright them after the season and get them for another year in the minors. Isn't that sort of what happened to Shane Peterson and why he couldn't become a free agent last off season?
  12. Including DL the roster is 44, Jones has been gone for a couple of months.
  13. Also were there really two Jose Pena's ranked in the system at the same time?
  14. Right, another guy who never played for the Brewers. The Brewers have been around for nearly 50 years and not even half of the guys inducted into the Walk of Fame even played for the Brewers (9/19). Thankfully Fielder will be added to the list.
  15. You can't just remove and add seven players because there are actually 4 players on the 60 day DL, so in reality have 44 players on the 40 man roster right now. Also don't think Taylor is a lock, probably would consider him a longshot, don't think he gets added.
  16. A couple of nice additions next year to the Wall of Honor in Hart and Fielder, I won't miss it when Fielder finally makes his return back to Milwaukee. Doubt Fielder gets his number retired but should be voted into the Walk of Fame rather easily even though they never seem to vote anyone in.
  17. Since he is going to be a free agent anyways, I wouldn't mind if the Brewers gave Austin Ross a shot the next couple of months. Rather see him than Scahill.
  18. Flores has shown nothing offensively or defensively, wouldn't surprise me one bit if he never plays in the majors again after this year much less a backup for ten years.
  19. I would bet both of the Williams make it as well as Cooper. Clint Terry seems like a guy that could make it as well as a left handed reliever. Neuhaus appeared to turn a corner also until he had the worst finger injury ever. Agree it is a pretty bad draft though and the Lohse signing sure didn't help it.
  20. I know very little about Gage Smith except that he throws side armed but his results have always been good. The Tigers released him last year as well.
  21. I guess I look at it a little differently. I see the 2017 rule 5 eligible guys and don't see a lot of additions (maybe 3-5), a sign that the rebuild is far from over and there will be plenty of AAAA and veteran types on this team in 2017.
  22. I don't know, he will still probably land at 12 or so which is pretty good in this system. Of course a couple of people voted for Woodford so maybe he doesn't get the respect he deserves.
  23. It wasn't pretty for Stokes early on but in the second half he is at 321/419/489. Not exactly Isan Diaz type second half numbers but still very good and the same age as Diaz.
  24. 1. Lewis Brinson 2. Orlando Arcia 3. Josh Hader 4. Luis Ortiz 5. Corey Ray 6. Phil Brickford 7. Brett Phillips 8. Isan Diaz 9. Marcos Diplan 10. Trent Clark 11. Jorge Lopez 12. Gilbert Lara 13. Cody Ponce 14. Brandon Woodruff 15. Lucas Erceg 16. Jacob Nottingham 17. Freddy Peralta 18. Kodi Medroios 19. Michael Reed 20. Troy Stokes 21. Keon Broxton 22. Jake Gatewood 23. Franly Mallen 24. Devin Williams 25. Brent Suter 26. Garrett Cooper Added Keon Broxton who I forgot was still eligible.
