  1. Baseballthinkfactory has about 19% in and Biggio is at 67.5%
  2. Currently limited to 10 ,which will create problems in future years considering I don't think anybody gets in.
  3. I understand that but I just dont think Fielder or Braun is the right answer. It is Braun. He is the better player. I guess I don't have a problem having him say Fielder or Braun. While I think Braun will end up with the better career both are superstar players with a chance to reach the hall of fame and both relatively young still so it certainly isn't a certainty that Braun will end up the better prospect.
  4. Kind of an odd decision considering all of the other sports talk in Milwaukee. Also, don't think Milwaukee will want to listen to that much Madison local talk. It is kind of funny that not one of the three stations will air Rome.
  5. Fielder was the No. 1 prospect at the time, he says the best actual prospect was Fielder or Braun.
  6. A near 900 OPS against righties the last two year is a major concern, that is large enough for me.
  7. Couldn't agree more, I already got a little frustrated after reading that Tom H said he could be a closer option if Axford fails.
  8. Translation: Jim Henderson is a better pitcher than he showed in his limited time with the Brewers last year.
  9. Nice to see they added another lefty. Man he has been real bad against righties the last couple of years though, sure hope he is pretty much a LOOGY.
  10. Turned the 2011 NLDS game and the 1982 ALCS game when family was over and people seemed to enjoy it. Still have not had time to watch all four discs but will be nice to be able to watch until baseball starts in a few months. Still around $14 on amazon if you happened to get a gift card as a present.
  11. I think they kind of already are but the secret is not to tell anybody that you are and not to totally tank.
  12. It's all about money and opportunity. If he shows he can close for one year on the Astros he will get a nice contract next year.
  13. You aren't kidding, not real easy on the eyes.
  14. Haudricourt has mentioned that a Japan team has his rights and won't let the Brewers sign him.
  15. I think of Gorzelanny similar to Narveson which makes me wonder if they still view Narveson as a starter or if they just don't think he will be back from injury. Edit: Since I mentioned him, Happy Birthday Chris Narveson.
  16. Brewers sign Tom Gorzelanny http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/184274081.html
  17. You still have to pay Jackson, an amnesty does not save you any money, by trading him they saved $10 million. Bogut is not a good trade piece and is damaged goods at this point, they did a good job of trading him when they did and yes it turned out to be a good trade.
  18. Browsed through the forum and it is crazy people were willing to blindly pay this guy for card lots.
  19. Morales is a switch hitter and hits right handed pitching better than Gamel ever will. If we got Morales and shipped out Hart there is no way Gamel starts over him.
  20. Guys that beat up women tend not to be too popular on the free agent market.
  21. Cheaper than Hart and similar career lines but not sure if he is the same player after his injury. Don't see a deal happening here.
  22. The more he sells the lower the price will be, if you really want one why wouldn't you want him to make more available?
  23. Where is the story that they turned down a Curry trade, how would the numbers even work with a Curry trade last year. The trade last year was still a good trade as they got rid of the contracts and roster space of Jackson/Bogut and in return got a decent guard and decent backup PF/C. Really reaching to criticize that trade.
  24. Find it interesting he is wearing Fielder's number.
  25. The Brewers were halfway through their season and 10 games over 500 when they traded for Sabathia, the Royals have given no indication they can field a winning team so it is a bad comparison. The best the Royals can hope for out of this trade is trading Shields at the trade deadline this year or next. Bad move.
