    If their plan is to let Segura compete for the starting job at spring training then I would bring him up now, otherwise wait until at least next June.

    He was trying to rationalize his mistake by saying such things as "If anything people are glad it doesn't exist." and "These rumors have been true a lot more often than not." When you promise something and don't deliver you typically apologize and move on instead of calling people hypersensitive, he for whatever reason is trying to defend his mistake.

    For those who thought Brooks would heat up with the Rays he was quietly sent back down to Durham this week. He was hitting 172/213/362 for them.

    I will never root for the Brewers to lose against a team like the Astros because if they can't beat them the Brewers will be bad for a long time.

    For all of the local sports talk in Milwaukee it really should be better. Chuck and Wickett are the most entertaining, 1250 has a good Brewers post game, Wilde on 540 is the best Packers guy and Sparky knows the most about the Bucks.

    I actually think Quintana is the type of guy Melvin would like, somebody who is already major league ready. Still a longshot but Ken Williams has pulled it off in the past.

    Rogers has been real good the last couple of starts but Peralta has a 1.83 ERA over his last six starts. Nice to see that Peralta has turned it around.

    Sure seems too good to be true.

    I know Izturis gets a lot of heat and I'm not a fan but Ransom is my least favorite position player on this team, he has been horrible ever since the Brewers acquired him. I also though Izturis was an old man but Ransom is four years older than him.

    Titanic 3D was released in April and will be on blu ray in September.

    I still have hopes that they resign Hart to a multi year contract out of the blue, similar to the previous contract. I would love if they could somehow dump Weeks. Would definitely consider Ramirez as well since he will be overpaid the next two years and it could be used to pay Hart.

    I'm optimistic that I will be getting some very good seats for very cheap in August and September. They may not be good but I still like going to the games.

    I'm sure if the Dodgers are still interested in Carlos Lee they could get him on the cheap now.

    It was actually a good night because Greinke pitched well and the bullpen reminded Melvin this team has no shot at the playoffs so feel free to sell.

    I would like to see Carlito come back someday, doubt it will happen today or anytime soon though.

    The buyer seemed to screw up but tough luck for him. It sure seems like he wasn't telling the truth to somebody with his "Due to the terms of my purchase" language. I certainly wouldn't want to be renting from a person like that but try to get as much out of it as you can.

    Initially when they drafted Harris I wasn't impressed but after watching him play last year, even in limited playing time, it was apparent he had quite a bit of talent. He is only 20 and hopefully the diamond in the rough they were looking for to help turn this franchise around.

    I have taken my one year old a few times and he loves it and it only costs me $.25 a ride. Feel free to also pack a lunch and eat at one of the picnic tables. As mentioned there is also the wildlife sanctuary which is free.

    If they win the series against the Reds, Phillies and Nationals they will have a shot at the division and wildcard so they won't sell at the deadline. While it sure would be nice to sweep a series it isn't necessary. It is also daunting to see all the teams ahead of them but in reality they still control their own destiny, good or bad.

    At least the Cardinals didn't get a pick.

    I had the Yankees/Blue Jays game on at work and it looks like Lawrie got hurt pretty bad going over the railing where the cameras are.

    It's very difficult to generate excitement when the draft isn't until next year and most of the players won't be in the majors for five years, if ever. However, you are correct that it doesn't appear that MLB is even trying at all.

    Yeah, I have high hopes for Lamb, he gets compared to Meeks but Lamb was a much better college player than Meeks. Also nice to see Sanders get 10 personal fouls. Jarrid Famous looked good too but I can't see them finding a roster spot for him.

    Just read this thread, I already have tickets in another section but will go through one of the two club gates and hopefully get an alternate.
