  1. I wouldn't call it decent but Pabst is sold at Miller Park.
  2. I admit to not knowing about much of the process before all of this but I find it kind of amazing that a suspension has never been overturned before considering you basically just have to convince one person you are innocent. I had little confidence before the hearing and about 50/50 now.
  3. Greg Matzek took a lot of crap for acting unprofessional or whatever but it's nice to now see that he was correct in calling LaRussa out.
  4. While I still think the voters should receive much of the blame for the lack of inductions I also blame the process. When you have guys like Del Crandell, Moose Haas and Derrick Turnbow all on the same ballot the results are not going to be optimal because there are too many guys from too many eras and only die hard baseball fans can make informed decisions.
  5. It really annoys me that Geoff Jenkins was not voted into the Brewers Walk of Fame, same wth Cirillo. The Brewers need to change the system because the voters seem to think they are voting for the baseball hall of fame. The Packers do a much better job with their hall.
  6. The Brewers would have legal issues if they planned for corporate sponsorships to win all of the prizes. Also remember that no purchase is necessary for the many that do not have season tickets.
  7. It's real early but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it's another first round bust and second round success.
  8. I can't see him wanting to play in AAA but I don't really want to see him pinch hitting at the big league level either. Basically another Counsell that is 10 years younger.
  9. Aramis Ramirez to sign three year deal pending physical. Source Update via Rosenthal: He will earn $6 million in 2012, $10 million in ’13 and $16 million in ’14, with a $4 million buyout on a mutual option for ’15. His third-year salary includes $6 million deferred (to a later year).
  10. Wow, Brad Radke has a bigger circle than Jack Morris.
  11. Great, I thought Williams wouldn't even get the necessary 5%, now I'm thinking he will be another guy clogging the ballot for 15 years.
  12. Bagwell, Larkin, Raines and Walker for me. Hopefully at least two make it because starting next year it is going to be very hard to get in because the performance enhancing users will be clogging up the ballot for a potential 15 years.
  13. I thought it was silly of them to start Cabrera ahead of Cain last year but it worked out for them.
  14. At least he is starting to develop a relationship with his son. However, I don't know if Hall will ever be able to turn it around, especially considering he has gone to WWE rehab a number of times and it has never worked. It did disgust me how the indy promoter never had second thoughts having him wrestle in the state he was in, he very well could have died in the ring.
  15. I think there will be a lot of complaining for many years to come on how the Brewers traded Lawrie for Marcum and nobody will really remember how well he pitched in the regular season.
  16. ^ Do not offer game tickets for more than face value, as printed on the ticket. Fees incurred by the original buyer may be included in an asking price. We do not consider this forum to be a storefront for members to make large profits off other members. It doesn't really matter anyway because tickets will be falling rapidly with over 6,000 on Stubhub and only a day to go.
  17. Why anyone would be shocked with a 96 win team winning a game at home with their ace on the mound is beyond me.
  18. I wonder if they actually ever do issue tickets because for a lot of games I, along with many others, go to Fridays after the game and don't often times leave the lots until 90 minutes or longer after the game.
  19. Sure is, if I get there and there is no parking after already paying for it I will be ticked off.
  20. I'm going to hold out buying tickets for the game on Sunday until sometime Saturday, there are overs 4,000 tickets available right now on stubhub and that is a lot of tickets to sell in three days.
  21. The Bucks do, not sure why the Brewers don't do the same.
  22. It's a longshot but Fielder needs 5 hits to get to 1,000.
  23. I have a feeling the Brewers win today and Cards lose in the afternoon tomorrow.
  24. A little surprising but that was a real good episode last night.
