  1. What a waste. Two runners on, your best hitter at the plate (who was already 2 for 2 today, and you end the inning with a caught stealing. Wong should have gotten into a better rundown. Urias could have scored then at least.
  2. Ender Inciarte was released by the Braves so he’s freely available if the Brewers really wanted him.
  3. Uggh… Reyes is the new Jace Peterson. I would gladly take a .770 OPS from a utility infielder I see I didn’t explain that how I meant. I meant since Peterson actually was performing that Reyes has now replaced him as someone I don’t have confidence in and would rather him not be on the big league club.
  4. How can you definitely say you were within 6 feet of someone for 15 minutes or more? Tough to be definitive with that. Don’t they wear electronic trackers for this? If that’s the case then it should be pretty easy. I guess I don’t know how many people are in the dugout at one time, but when on offense it it could be around 12-15 guys and a half inning can early last more than 15 minutes, so it seems very feasible that that many people in close quarters could meet the requirements. I’m just surprised that is only two. I’m glad it’s only two, don’t get me wrong, but I’m just surprised.
  5. Uggh… Reyes is the new Jace Peterson.
  6. It’s amazing that contract tracing only includes Jace Peterson (unless by some coincidence Jace’s exposure wasn’t Yelich). How can a bunch of the guys in the dugout not be included in contract tracing?

    The Olympics

That’s in Australian dollars so in US dollars it’s ONLY $2.5 billion. The point is the same though.
  8. I feel like they're going to make a pretty big deal, too. I don't know if it'll be Scherzer but a player with a little control while our "window" is open. I know it’s extremely unlikely, but imagine if they could land Scherzer and sign him for like a 2-year extension. That would line up with the rest of the big three starters and would give us one hell of a window.
  9. If your brats work, then Yelich may come up to bat this inning.
  10. I receive daily emails from MLB and today’s had an article about each team’s most untouchable player. I was trying to think who I’d list for the Brewers. A few years ago it would have been easy: Yelich. But with his struggles and our strong starting pitching I was thinking that it could be one of our big three. It could even be Adames as this point, but since great pitching is so hard to come by I’d think it would be down to Woodruff, Burnes, and Peralta. It’s almost impossible to pick one but I’d lean towards Peralta due to his age and I believe his contract is most favorable among the three. So, I opened up the article to see who was listed for the Brewers to see if they agreed with me. They had Yelich listed, which I disagree with completely (unless they mean untouchable because no one would take his contract, but they didn’t say that). My guess is that the writer still views Yelich more like his former self. Here’s the article: https://www.mlb.com/news/most-untouchable-player-for-every-team?partnerId=zh-20210725-442944-mlb-1-B&qid=1026&utm_id=zh-20210725-442944-mlb-1-B&bt_ee=z506s030jUg%2BwUT758jJhJMzyZUZXL9uf3%2FzLWEppPeF7W4WAuh3b8bZ6i6HxTmI&bt_ts=1627223295288
  11. I thought Cleveland Rockers would have had a chance. I guess it was a WNBA team for a while so maybe that’s why they didn’t go that route. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Rockers
  12. I think the new name is awful. Sounds like an arena league name. I would have like “Cleveland Baseball Team” better.
  13. The Brewers probably stayed up to late celebrating the Bucks like the rest of us to be too productive at work today.
  14. Yeah, those shirts are not very good
  15. One thing we saw is that Giannis is definitely ready for the bright lights…
  16. I can’t believe it! Brewers are next… this year!!!
  17. Connaughton needs to just get lined up for threes. Everything else he’s doing on offense isn’t good.
  18. It seems like the Bucks have wasted too much time on most of their possessions so they are stuck taking terrible shots. Maybe that’s the Suns defense that’s causing that though vs. the Bucks offense just sucking.
  19. This might be the worst quarter of basketball I’ve ever seen
  20. 4 points in nearly half a quarter isn’t going to cut it
  21. Yep. I envision the Bucks blowing a sizable lead to have a three-point lead with just seconds left and Booker throws up a three-quarter-court shot, makes it, and for some reason is fouled with a questionable foul, and makes the free-throw with no time left to win. That’s what Wisconsin sports heartbreak brings you.
  22. Especially since he’s shooting so well today. Game 4 was a total different story.
