  1. Jrue is the complete opposite offensively right now than he was in game 4
  2. It bugs someone else, too. Whenever I go to a game in another park I always wear a Brewers T shirt and cap. I think it’s fun to see other parks and teams without having a strong rooting interest. There’s nothing to get mad about. The last time I did that at the Mariners park in July of 2018 a teenager wearing a Rizzo jersey informed me that he wasn’t at all concerned about the Brewers because he only worried about big market teams like the Dodgers, Yankees, and Red Sox. Maybe he should have been more concerned about the Brewers. I wear Brewers shirts a lot of the time so I’d probably wear one to another sport/team as well. I think it’s more my disdain for the Cubs and Cubs fans, so when I see them it irritates me.
  3. Uggh a Cubs fan caught that home run. Nothing bothers me like Cubs apparel at non-Cubs games.
  4. Wong is doing just fine at leadoff. I’m not questioning Wong. I’m trying to think of ways to better utilize Yelich. If he can get on base and then you have Wong, Urias, Adames coming up, it may be better than Yelich batting second.
  5. Is Yelich still getting on base at a decent clip? If so, would it make sense to have him bat lead-off? He still can run very well, so off he gets on it could create scoring opportunities even though he is awful right now.
  6. Yep, it’s down. Switched to TV I wasn’t able to watch the Bucks postgame via the Bally app on my phone and Roku the other night (it was raining hard and my DirecTv signal was toast). I wonder if it has been down since.
  7. Wow, I didn’t think the Bucks were going to pull that off! It’s new series! Let’s gooooooooo!!!
  8. Not sure how that wasn’t a foul on booker.
  9. Reminds me of the Brewers offense…
  10. Booker has a pretty rough life. He’s an excellent basketball player and looking to win a title, and he’s dating a billionaire.
  11. The bucks have to be the worst team at getting a shot off before the end of a quarter
  12. Can’t make close shots. Can’t make threes. Going to make it hard to win.
  13. Holiday lost it again and was lucky to score before the end of the quarter. He barely made that shot even. We can’t make close shots for some reason.
  14. Very sloppy. Reminds me of the first two games.
  15. I’m nervous for the game tonight. It’s as close to a must-win without actually being a must-win. The Bucks need to win all their home games and steal one of the remaining away games. I don’t see them winning two road games. Need Middleton to make his jump shots, Jrue to shoot more consistently (make layups) and not turn the ball over to much, and Lopez to be more involved. Giannis needs to drive the paint and not take threes. Hopefully some combination of these can work and lead to a big Bucks win tonight! Don’t know the next time we’ll be able to see the Bucks in the Finals, so let’s enjoy it!
  16. Yes, this team is good enough to make the playoffs. Right now. The pitching is legit. Now, advancing in the playoffs is a different story. But this team, as it stands, is a playoff team. There's no reason, other than pessimism, to believe it isn't. Sure, they've fatten up on some bad teams, but they've generally looked fine against decent to good teams for the most part. Fair enough. I’d feel a lot better if we could somehow improve our 6, 7, and 8 hitters. I realize we can’t do all of them, but improving one would be nice.
  17. We are seeing that pitching and defense isn’t enough. Hopefully Attanasio and Stearns can find a way to acquire some offense this off-season so we don’t completely waste our window of good starting pitching. Enough for what? Make the playoffs? Because this team is a division champion if the season ended today. For all the consternation so far, the pitching/defense approach has worked. Do you believe it’s enough to carry us through the rest of the season and the playoffs? I sure don’t. Scoring one run is awfully hard to win with in the long run.
  18. Well...I certainly hope they do eventually. That's kind of the long-term goal in mind here. We are seeing that pitching and defense isn’t enough. Hopefully Attanasio and Stearns can find a way to acquire some offense this off-season so we don’t completely waste our window of good starting pitching.
  19. It’s not surprising. They usually tank right around the ASB. Unfortunately it’s going to be against their biggest competitor in the division.
