  1. This clearly doesn't apply to Rickie's last at bat... http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSDy8136qYLMtjkbNx1JKGvfgDahV4ofUUQfa3r0RC2f5pSgprs
  2. The Brewers aren't the first team to do a themed-photo when leaving town. The Rays had a pajama picture earlier in the season...although the Cowboy photo was much better in my opinion. http://i.usatoday.net/sports/_photos/2011/06/13/tampa-bay-rays-115RN1E-x-large.jpg
  3. That's not too surprising to me...you're in Badgers country there and the Brewers, even in the postseason, unfortunately play second fiddle to the Badgers...especially with the Nebraska game coming up this weekend.
  4. I didn't receive a rejection or a congratulations email either. My wife received a rejection email. I'm assuming I did not win either.
  5. http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRkYcFqLFzJ4VY8cCEL5yTTOMirldQeMRmHYmGcXL-OCI5fr2ZL No need to panic!
  6. I'll be there on Saturday for the last game of my weekend 9-pack. I have a feeling that Saturday will be clinching day!
  7. I will post Jeffrey Leonard "00" instead. Or Curtis Leskanic
  8. Took a look at it... after last night, the Brewers are 22-31 against teams with a winning record. 63-30 against teams with a losing record. Not sure what's more alarming, their record against good teams or the sheer number of games they've played against bad ones.I always wonder when I hear stats like this...are these numbers referring to the opponent's record when the game was played or their record now?
  9. I too would love to get one of these towels. Once Bikeage77 gets his, if anyone has an extra or doesn't want their T Plush towel I would be interested in it. Thanks!
  10. Does it have to be for a child? I would prefer to just set this up for myself since I don't have any kids.
  11. I've read about the Bernie Brewer birthday bobbleheads. How do you get them?
  12. I would have agreed with this statement prior to this year. I think I've taken Kelly's Bleachers' shuttle three times this year and after every game it seemed like we were trying to get on the last life boat of the Titanic. There are way too many people using this shuttle, plus there are lots of drunks that you have to deal with. We've actually had the shuttle driver stop and drop us off because the shuttle was so crowded with drunken idiots and we were moving so slowly that even after we got dropped off we were able to walk back to the bar area before the shuttle got there.
  13. I'll try the lottery, but I have a feeling that it will be much more difficult to "win" than it was in 2008. If anyone wins the lottery and already has tickets, I'll use your code for you. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  14. As soon as I saw the Heartbreakers shirt, it brought me back to the good-old-days at County Stadium. I saw that these aren't currently available in 2XL. Any chance that you'll be making more of these in that size?
  15. I figured I should post this sooner than later...and assuming the Brewers make the post-season, if anyone will have extra post-season tickets I would be interested in purchasing them from you. I know the tickets will be difficult to come by, but from what I hear, the prices are high and some of you may not be willing/able to attend every game in your post-season ticket package. I used to be a 20-game ticket pack holder when my brother lived in Milwaukee in the late 1990's/early 2000's. I was single and could make the 2.5 hour drive from Stevens Point much more often then. Once I got married I had to downsize to being 9-pack ticket holder. Anyway, I really want to get to at least one game of each Brewers' post-season series. I really don't care where the seat is, I just want to get in Miller Park for these games. The number of tickets really doesn't matter either as I would take my wife, brother, or friend(s) if there were extra tickets. If it's only 1 ticket that would be fine too, but I'd prefer at least 2 tickets. So if you have extra tickets and want to sell them to a die-hard Brewers fan please let me know. I promise you that I will be going to the games and not selling these to make a profit. My wife is even on board with this since when we got married the one thing that I had "grandfathered-in" is that I am going to go to at least one game in each Brewers' post-season series. I was fortunate enough to win the ticket lottery in 2008 and it was an amazing experience. Thanks in advance! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  16. GNR - The Spaghetti Incident? edited: Oops...I failed to realize it's supposed to be a fruit/vegetable theme. Well there's tomato sauce in spaghetti, so that's from a fruit, right? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
  17. I never understood the purpose of the September call-ups. What is the reasoning behind having this? It is kind of an unusual concept that you can bring up additional players during the last month to help you get into the postseason, but these call-ups can't play in the postseason, right?
  18. JSOnline says Greinke Friday, Estrada Saturday. FOX was probably already regretting picking up Saturday's game anyway...prove me wrong, Marco!Uggh...the baseball gods are preventing me from seeing Greinke pitch in person at Miller Park. I was joking about this with a buddy of mine that when Narveson hurt himself they'll probably move Greinke up a day and start Estrada on Saturday...all because we are going to Saturday's game. What a disappointment, especially for a nationally televised game. I'd rather see Rafael Roque pitch this Saturday than Estrada...
  19. The 2001 Milwaukee Brewers weren't exactly a talented team either. They could sure hit, but usually a rotation of Jamey Wright, Jimmy Wayne Haynes, rookie Ben Sheets, Alan Levrault, and Paul Rigdon isn't going to go very far. Not to mention 10 starts by Ruben Quevado. How that team every managed to get to 38-34 before they tanked is the real miracle. Pirates fans can blame "the call" all they want, but we all know they did not have the talent.Meat.
  20. I too filled out the survey but did not get invited...bummer.
  21. I would assume so. I've been a 9-game pack ticket holder for a couple of years and have never been invited to these.
  22. I was thinking the same thing...
  23. I don't think either of those were true outs...but I'll take them!
  24. It sounds like a pop-up to shallow right field.
