I plan on going. I've seen the Titanic Exhibit in Orlando a couple times in the past and it was pretty cool. It's too bad Milwaukee didn't have room for the Grand Staircase, that was cool to see.

It will be interesting to see where Lips Labelle surfaces. I'm sure some other station will grab him.

It sounds like they will have on-air personalities beginning next year, but they will have a lesser role than before.

Apparently, when WRIT went all Christmas on Halloween, WMYX immediately went to Christmas as well. I love Christmas songs, but not before Thanksgiving.

So another radio station switches formats. Now 94.5 is going to a Jack format, playing everything under the sun. I haven't really listened to KTI since Reitman retired. http://www.945lakefm.com/ I'm just recalling all of the radio stations from my youth and how most have changed now. 93 Q FM, 94 WKTI, Z 95, Light 97, Hot 102, Lazer 103, 104 WEZW. Sports games and talk radio are about all I listen to on the radio now.

I've heard it should be under $2 in Milwaukee by Thanksgiving. It's crazy to think that gas prices will be cut in half in just a few months time.

Who cares about home field advantage? It's not like either team earned it. It's the goofy All Star game thing. They really need to tighten the schedule so the Series wraps up earlier. It would help with weather and ratings. It's crazy to be playing baseball when basketball has started.

Yeah, the box score does look very familiar. Besides the bad defense, 19 shots and only 1 assist for Redd. And only 4 shots for Bogut.

I've been busting my tail all summer, sealing off air leaks in the attic, adding more insulation and adding more ventilation to the attic. I found some parts with no insulation, some major gaps, and clogged vents. I'm hoping this will all pay off and I won't have to be roof raking and breaking up ice dams all winter long. And the lower energy bills will be nice too. I don't mind shoveling, but shoveling a foot of wet, heavy snow regularly got old last year. And I absolutely hate roof raking, but it was a necessary evil.

Am I the only one who thought "Rusty Chevrolet" by Da Yoopers? "Got to head to Shop-ko to pick up the layaway, 'cause Santa Claus is coming soon in his big old rusty sleigh" Other than that, no experience with layaways.

There's a valve in the basement right inside where the pipe goes trough the wall to the faucet. You close the inside valve and open the outside valve to drain all water. That prevents the pipe from freezing and breaking.

I was thinking the same thing. Leadoff hitter and 3B are the two places that need to improve the most. I'm willing to give Weeks one more shot. Maybe a full year of not hitting leadoff will help him.

Also, I'm sure that cable vs. broadcast TV skews things a bit. How much closer would it have been if both were on broadcast TV? My relatives were over at my parents house on Sunday. My sister and brother-in-law had the Packers on in one room. My wife, dad, and I had the Brewers on the radio in another room. No cable to watch the Brewers. And my 4 year old has been raised right. He said "Why are the Packers on?" He'd rather watch baseball. -
So the taxpayers are paying half the amount. How is that "funded largely by the Brewers"?

One of my son's favorites movies is "Cars". I can't imagine how the sequel will be without Filmore (George Carlin) and now Doc Hudson (Newman).

I was an 8 year old kid when my family moved to Milwaukee in August of 1982. So my first baseball memories are of the Pennant. It's so hard to believe that they've made it back after 26 long years. I thought this day would never come. Let's keep it going Brew Crew!

Just a nitpick, but Tylenol is not Ibuprofen. Advil is Ibuprofen. Tylenol is acetaminophen. You'd want Ibuprofen, not Tylenol to reduce swelling.
