  1. It's like having a supermodel girlfriend and complaining that she can't make a decent steak.
  2. Been using it as Beta since the Foxmarks extension was updated to work with 3.0. Haven't looked back since... IE just seems like a joke at this point.
  3. I just heard on ESPN Radio that apparently Willie went up to Omar before the flight out west to ask him about his job status because he had a bad feeling. Minaya reassured him that all was well. After thinking about it for a while, Willie went back to Omar again, and asked him if he was sure that everything was okay with his job, whether he should be on the flight or not, etc. Omar again let him know that everything was okay and that he should definitely fly with the team. Now this.
  4. He was talking about MBB, not you.
  5. By saying they have the game on them, do you mean pictures or video or something else?
  6. Nelson Cruz hitting .332 with 20 HR, OPS over 1.100 after todays game against Nashville. Gotta think he's going to figure it out at the Major League level someday.
  7. It reminded me of those guys from Major League out in the stands with the headdresses and big drums.
  8. And Milwaukee will lose some games because of both of the above, with myriad other reasons as well. That said, I still hold out hope for the Crew. Just saying that the Brewers suffer from both of the above afflictions that you say will doom others in the race.
  9. You've got to look at the big picture - it's going to be a tough few days, but the rest of your life will be better than if you had never gone through with the surgery. Hang in there.
  10. Sure, but there is a reason for the price increase - the 3G functionality.
  11. And what exactly does Melvin have to do with setting the lineup?
  12. Link First Pujols, now Soriano. Gotta like the Brewers chances to pick up a few games with these big time players missing time.
  13. So you're saying I have a chance...http://c.myspace.com/Groups/00011/40/03/11253004_l.jpg
  14. Daniel VanJansenBerger III, third cousin of Taint McFadden, and heir to the fortunes of a vast peanut-shelling empire of the late 1920s.
  15. Maybe Harrington just didn't have a family to feed at the time. Who knows?
  16. The way that bats have been breaking recently, maybe that's not a bad idea. Just make sure to bring the good wood to the plate. Oh man. This thread could get ugly.
  17. One more quick mention regarding small time advertising. If you are going to pay to put an ad somewhere, or even just advertise on your own business space, make sure you are spelling correctly! Nothing turns me away more than poor spelling on advertising. I might let it slide to get a good deal, but it just makes it look as though the people calling the shots aren't very intelligent. Just sayin.
  18. In regards to question 3 - I'd guess you could sign on with an Independent League team. That wouldn't do as much for your future as signing with a major league team of course.
  19. Those Lenox Financial commercials on ESPN radio always get to me...they call them "The Biggest No Brainer in the History of Earth." They claim this because they advertise no closing costs on their loans. Thing is, there are no out-of-pocket closing costs due at the time of the loan, but you will pay for the closing costs over the life of the loan. Double-talk always gets to me, especially when you use it as your main selling point.
  20. I've got a few sites that I check randomly for deals that are just too good to pass up. There are plenty of these sites that list deals, and I'm sure I don't know all of the good ones. Here are the ones I do check: fatwallet.com - Great site with forums for Hot Deals, Free Stuff and a very useful financial forum as well. slickdeals.net - Another great site that lists their deals on the front page, also has forums but I don't check them as much as fatwallet. cheapstingybargains.com - Always loaded with great deals on Dell computers, also have deals for TVs, digital cameras, etc In addition to these sites, you can also check froogle.com, a google project. Type in the make and model of what you are looking for and it will find the best deal online for you. There is also pricewatch.com, which has more of a computer/tech edge to it, but does the same thing as froogle. Of course there is always woot.com as well. What sites would you recommend for someone looking for great deals online? edit: I would be remiss if I didn't mention newegg.com, who has earned the right to get my business even if they are a few dollars more than the competitor. They have unbelievable customer service and the fastest shipping I have ever come across. They are based in California, and when I lived in Milwaukee I would get what I ordered from them within 2 days the vast majority of the time, when I only ordered ground shipment. Now that I live in Vegas I get everything the very next day, even with just ground shipping. While at times they are a little more expensive, they are always very competitive and you may even find the best deal at newegg. I would recommend them to anyone looking for computer parts.
  21. Looks vaguely like a young Carrie Fisher.
  22. One idea would be to re-direct the sewage that was leaving Miller Park restrooms and flowing directly into the Menominee River. Have a 50 cent beer night and you've got yourself a lake. Good thing I don't swim. linkage
  23. That was pretty awkward at times, but he got a little better as he went on. I've got that same Brewers shirt too. Got it at Miller Park.
  24. While wearing a cup? I...umm...ouch.
  25. The Colorado River also made the largest man-made lake in the states, Lake Mead, with a little help from the Hoover Dam.
