  1. Ya I like it. I think the MT Dew can looks a little goofy but I do think that area needed an update. I think the Miller Deck could be a fun area. I know I'd enjoy that.
  2. Funeral was supposidly during the game and she told him not to come, the way to honor me is by going out and playing your best! SUPER FISHY! It's all fishy. When ESPN did their interview they asked for pictures of her, he said the family requested not to show any. They requested something else and he responded the same way. He's got to come out soon I would think and say something.
  3. I don't know how you get pulled in that bad to someone if you've never actually met or seen them. I mean, if I was an 85 yr old single man and needed a pen pal, that's one thing, but a young 20's college kid in the spot light.... I think I'd be looking for more than that.
  4. Billyhallfan- I would start trying to get interest from jobs up there and when they contact you, just be honest. Tell them you are moving up there and you were curious if you could do phone interviews or skype (something like that). I think by telling them everything up front, you can make things happen. I think you can find sales by showing them that you have a proven track record, even though it's short. It can't hurt to start tossing your resume out there!
  5. Wow, great win. I didn't think they even had a shot at them! Fun stuff.
  6. Thanks again guys for the congrats and congrats to you JJfanec, keep us posted on when the new one comes. A lot of great advice on here, I really appreciate it. I'm not in WI at this point (some day!) but am familiar with 529 plans and we plan on saving right away. Fondybrewfan - my brother and his wife are going through the same thing, only for 7 months, but their daughter just won't sleep for more than 2 hours. Hopefully that changes soon for them! That has to be a lot of work for you, hang in there!
  7. Hey guys thanks for all the great advice so far, really appreciate it! Fondy - I will deffinitley take the car seat in! Thanks. I'm already getting nervous about the sleep, but I'm hoping I can figure it out! brwrsfan - I may take you up on that either on here or PM. I'm sure more questions will come up over the coming months. Anyone have any "must haves" that make life easier? Things you couldn't live without?
  8. My wife and I have our first child due in late May and we've started to dive in to everything we need for the little one. There is so much information out there on what you need, what you don't, so I just want to open this thread up to some of you experts who have gone through this stuff. This is where I go for the rest of my info, so why not fatherhood tips! Anything I should be looking at or should not get suckered in to, let me know! One question I have right away, as I'm doing research, does anybody have any suggestions on video monitors? Anyone have any issues with Motorolla ones? Thanks for any help you may have!
  9. That sucks dude, sorry to hear that. Hopefully it leads you to something better! Life has an interesting way of working its self out.
  10. When were steroids illegal in baseball? When did they start testing for them? I'm ok with these guys not being first ballot HOFers but I don't think they should be kept out going forward. You can't play the judge game on who you "think" did roids and who didn't. It's not fair. They need to vote these guys in for what they did and let people debate and discuss them when the visit the HOF. There were just too many people doing stuff during that time period. You are supposed to be judged against the guys from your time period and if you were dominant during that time, you should be in the HOF. Barry Bonds was the most dominant player I've ever wittnessed. On steroids or not, he was amazing and should be in the HOF.
  11. If we grabbed Gonzo, do you think that could be an issue for Segura? If he starts off slow, people will be calling for Gonzo. I think that can go both ways, gives us a great backup if Segura struggles, but could maybe cause issues for him too. Just throwing that out there.
  12. Maybe he got that Bartolo Colon tretment/surgery!!!
  13. Wow, that stinks. I never had any issues like that with Directv. I would call them again and say hey, I'm not paying full price for my service if I'm not getting my full service, how can we make this right?
  14. Skyfall was a lot of fun! Great movie for the theatre. Looking forward to his next ones already!!!
  15. Awesome! thanks!! Really looking forward to it and great to hear it looks amazing. Lincolin is awesome IMO. I mean what a grea performance by Daniel Day Lewis. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
  16. Also would love some good Netflix streaming suggestions. I have not been on there much lately and could go for some good movies. I tend to like comedy, and good thinker movies. I also enjoy documentaries. Thanks!
  17. Has anyone seen Skyfall around here? Wife and I were thinking of hitting it up tonight, thought it would be a good one to catch in the theatre.
  18. Man this is a tough situation. Are there any family members/close friends that would be able or willing to help out in this situation? Again, keep your head up, stay positive, ask questions and don't be affraid to tell some of these people you are not able to make certain things happen right away. If you have time, you can.
  19. Thanks again for throwing these on here! It's much appreciated!!
  20. I believe it was after the 2011 season that Luc made a statement that he was pretty upset with how he hit and said that wasn't going to happen again. Not to say he can just call his shots but he just seemed so confident that he was a much better hitter than he had showed. That kind of stuck with me and I think he really concentrated on his offense last offseason after working on D so hard previously. I see him more around .290 I think. Maybe last year will become his norm and boy would that be great but as was just stated, batting over .300 is tough to do. Maybe he has that ability, but it's not easy to do as a catcher.
  21. Is the house paid off? You can look in to taking equity out of the house to pay off the debts, might be the cheapest money you can borrow. Other thing I'd look at doing is selling items that he owned that don't have sentimental value to you. That could help come up with some money. Again, I wish you the best with everything you are going through. Keep yourself busy and try to keep a positive mindset!
  22. I'm glad he's getting game experience but I hope he doesn't get too burnt out. I just hope the kid continues to grow and is middle of the road defensively and above average offensively. It doesn't take a whole lot to do that on the offense side with the lack of bats at that position currently. I guess I'm just looking for above average out of him and I'll be happy.
  23. Sounds like a success! I could go for a relish tray today! Of course, I've been over eating for the last two + weeks so I should probably get back on track today.
  24. Do you guys think Lucroy is closer to his BA & OPS of .320/.881 last year, or his career average of .279/.738?
