We have got to be so annoying to play against. We have seven of the exact same player in our lineup every single day... a bunch of scrappy mosquitoes that just won't go away.

The easiest and most impactful upgrade the Brewers can make in the next two weeks is an upgrade to Bauers. If we can get a power bat to pinch hit late that can spell against tough RHP ... that will make a difference.

What is the QO projected to be this year? Is it north of $22m? I think it all will be in the details when it's all said and done. If Milwaukee only offers a QO and some other team offers him 3yr $75m ... what is he supposed to do? If Milwaukee offers him 2 yr $44m and instead he accepts a deal elsewhere for 2 yr $45.5m ... then I will be scratching my head a bit wondering what is going on. Woodruff needs to do what is best for he and his family. The Brewers need to do what's best for Milwaukee. Hopefully those two things are the same thing.

Just getting home and catching up on everything.. I thought there would have been more mention in this thread about Suarez getting hit by that pitch. Considering all the murmuring that he is a trade target for us. We will see if it's just a bruise or something more after..

You know, I don't know how open players/agents are with organizations anymore ... but I almost feel like the convo between Woodruff and the Brewers (should he get himself to this point) will be something like Woodruff telling Milwaukee "Hey, make sure you offer me the QO so I can decline it and you guys get that pick..." as a final handshake thank you between the two parties. The relationship between he and Milwaukee feels like 100% the opposite of what it was with Burnes.

I have forgotten to update this thread and it was mine to begin with... For shame. Where has everyone gone to the games this year so far? I've been to Mke, Msp, and both Chi thus far. I'm hoping for a KC trip before the summer is over yet.
