    Taillon in his career has a stolen base % against of 83.5% (96/115). Although this season runners are 10/15 against him.

    My immediate reaction to offer an answer is that with the wind blowing in Murphy thinks this will be a 2-1 game and we will need to steal a run at some point to pull it out... so we are prioritizing speed and defense.

    I no longer doubt anything the Brewers do ... but rearranging the lineup and Lockridge in CF both raised my eyebrows. Excited to score 10 again and be proven wrong. Let's go sweep them up!

    I'm not at all disagreeing with you ... but if I could add a touch on context and maybe optimism if he starts tonight? His BABIP is Sept/Oct was by far his lowest in any month this year (.310A/.302M/.359J/.411J/.310A/.229S) His OBP is Sept was actually right on par with his monthly avg otherwise (.333A/.319M/.411J/.411J/.359A/.345S) .. his k/bb was actually a tick better in Sept than the other months ... and this is with about 60% of the at bats he normally would have gotten since Perkins came back. All of this to say ... seems like he had some bad luck on hits not falling for him and the dullness his numbers present for the last how many weeks maybe are not as bad as they seem?

    I guess I don't get having Chourio play in LF unless you think him playing the field keeps him in the game mentally for his at bats? Yelich playing in left is a better defensive option than Chourio running at 85% out there. Just flip the two and have Chourio DH ... again unless you think that would alter his at bats mentally. If his hamstring is bothering him the last thing we want is him chasing down baseballs in the gap...

    Had you told me during spring training that in October we were going to have a game against Jameson Taillon to advance to the NLCS (not even mentioning being up 2-0) ... I would have probably gotten super nostalgic and sentimental thinking about Uecker. Yes, I am aura farming for the club right now. I don't care. We are celebrating on their field tomorrow and I'm going to post every Uecker quote I know when it happens.

    this seems like a good baseball decision and so far this game i feel like we have made 14 bad baseball decisions and that has us up 4 runs. so i think that means Bauers pitches the 8th.

    I have no idea what to feel right now. We won 19 out of the last 20 starts Priester made and we have a home crowd and we are throwing a bullpen game. I guess we don't have full trust in Quintana so we are trying to steal one now? I'm spinning a bit..
