    I feel terrible because I know the girl who sang it and she is a really good and really funny person. I have no idea what happened... she obviously couldn't hear herself for one.. but maybe sick or on meds or something? She seemed out of it. I feel so bad for her.

    I know he is a popular whipping boy around here but only 24 with a season+ under his belt... If he can add a little pop to his swing in the coming years he could very well be a long term keeper.

    Wondering if we will get any news one way or the other on Chourio after he smashed his foot on that foul ball. Not anticipating an IL stint or anything.. but wouldn't be surprised to see him get a day or two off to nurse it.

    Baseball is so crazy. If Contreras doesn't adjust outside on that 1-2 pitch I think we are out of the inning.

    I don't think there is a right answer. Freeman is hall of fame good. But he is 1-3 today with 2 ks and the other guy had left the yard in every at bat. I don't think there is a wrong answer tbh in this isolated situation.

    I think part of it comes from success/expectation. If we had proven to be a 75 win team through the first half ... we would be hoping for competitive games and taking a game in LA? But we are a confident team that scraps and wins (thus far) as well as most any in baseball and the fan base feels it. So we feel like we should win this series ... and that disappointment shows through louder when the team or a player regresses both in moments and in stretches.

    I mean, they said Contreras and Civale didn't even have a bullpen session together yet before this start. I'm going to say something potentially shocking here... but can we give the guy more than 100 pitches to a new catcher/team before we stamp him as "He basically was who we thought he was"? Is that too crazy?
