I think the fact that Gamel is still on the team and started yesterday at 3B speaks a lot louder than any of Melvin's words to Tom Haudricourt. Time is running out for Casey. -
Considering all the pre-season hype Zack's been pretty disappointing. If it wasn't for the Cardinals fading fast there wouldn't be much optimism surrounding the Brewers right now. They certainly aren't an upper-echelon team yet, which isn't surprising but not particularly encouraging.

The team is getting better. It's unfortunate that Gamel isn't an option at 3B anymore, but it'll be nice to see him in a Brewers uni if only for a week or so.

I'm fully expecting Mat to get the call. Don't get me wrong, he totally deserves it, but a big part of me is rooting for Taylor Green. Then again maybe that's the same part of me that sees Michael Brantley starting full-time down in Cleveland...

Haha, Betancourt's awfulness is just unrivaled. I didn't think it was possible for him to be as bad as I heard he was all off-season. Boy, was I wrong.

Even if McGehee is batting before Lucroy, there is zero logic at all in hitting Yuni before Lucroy. Hell, Betancourt should be on the damn bench. My loathing of that guy can't be overstated. I agree. If Lucroy bats even 7th, he gets a sac fly right there. Why? Because he actually knows how to hit.But that really isn't something you can assume

Maybe if Nieves was up there I'd call the squeeze, but Wolf is semi-competent. Especially with the 3-1 count. But in reality Randy shouldn't have had much problem just getting a piece of that ball

Nieves is unbelievably bad. I've been trying to stay positive with all the winning the Brewers have been doing, but I absolutely cannot believe the dude is still on the roster
