  1. COINBASE went public today. Currently trading around $330 a share. I am going to wait and see if it goes down to around $200. I think it is over valued where it is at now.
  2. If you like risk then SPAK maybe something to look into. It is basically an ETF of new technology companies. It is down right now but I think it will increase and should stabilize around $35-40.
  3. My uncle has DIRECT TV and his remotes stopped working. All of them all at the same time. The only thing that works on them is the guide button the up and down arrows and the channel buttons. Everything else doesn't work on them. I tried reprogramming them for him no luck. Even the one he bought as a spare that is still in the bag it came in doesn't work and has the same issues. I am not saying this is a conspiracy but the evidence is pointing to it. Anyways he called direct tv and they told him he would have to buy new ones or a technician could come out and replace his boxes and remotes. He did the tech thing had a date and time frame for them to come they never came. He calls them back and they tell him he is lying and there is no record of him calling in or scheduling a technician to come out. Though he did get confirmation and when he gave them the confirmation information they hang up on him. He still insists that direct TV is still a good service. Sometimes I think people just enjoy the pain.

    Pizza

I love Chicago deep dish. That is dinner and lunch for 3 days.
  5. I don't really watch anything on YouTube TV that I would want to watch in surround sound so to me that is not really a factor. When I am watching YouTube TV I am watching from my PC or from a tablet and I have my headphones in and it sounds decent enough. If I want to watch a movie it is usually on Amazon or from RedBox. I never really liked surround sound when watching sports just doesn't sound all that great to me.
  6. Another streaming service at $50 a month doesn't have the regional sports networks. https://www.t-mobile.com/tvision I didn't see this one posted here. Could always do the free MLB TV if you have Tmobile as your cell provider.
  7. Have you thought about just buying an RV? Cheaper than a home and you have more mobility. Stay in WI during the summer and then AZ or FL in the winter. This is basically what I am thinking if I ever retire. Get an RV and just live everywhere in the US.
  8. Phoenix is horrible right now with all of the California, New York and other state refuges. The city of Phoenix alone added 80,000 people last year and the housing market is suffering because of this for buyers. If you are seller here it is awesome as prices are up about 200% in nearly every neighborhood. For example a neighbor where I live had their house on the market for 0 days and get 10 offers and the final offer they accepted was for $200k more than what the market value was for houses in this neighborhood go for. So if you are seller in the Phoenix market it is good but if you are a buyer you better be prepared to pay a premium for a house. The 80,000 people added in 2020 which includes people who moved out of the city, this is the highest or one of the highest population increases across the US.
  9. Shazam was surprisingly really good. Hollywood is devoid of new ideas and is just mostly cookie cutter movies or remakes. I would love to see a Metal Gear Solid movie but the creator of the game has said no on this. Would be an interesting sci-fi action movie kind of a Rambo meets Bond with robots and over the top villains.
  10. Yes, there are a lot of commercial parts that can be used by using block chain. I believe there is a lot of banking products being developed using the block chain which should make financials more secure.
  11. Season one and two were done by Syfy season 3-5 is done by Amazon. Season 3 and 5 are my favorite seasons I didn't like season 4 as much as the others and season 2 can drag a bit here and there.
  12. LOL, it would be funny to have the count explain blockchains and the cookie monster to explain internet cookies.
  13. I am very interested in blockchain as it apparently has commercial use even if digital currencies don't catch on as actual currencies. I just can't wrap my head around how to explain what it is or does or how it might be useful just yet. Check these two links out this should explain blockchain about as simply as you can. https://www2.deloitte.com/ch/en/pages/strategy-operations/articles/blockchain-explained.html
  14. Uggg I really hate Cramer as he is one of the biggest market manipulators.
  15. Not only did the hedge fund short the stock but they also shorted it for more than there are available shares on the market. I think it was something like 150% of the total shares that can be bought and sold on the market.
  16. They have a former chairperson from the SEC on their side so pretty corrupt.
  17. The Undertaker was recently on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Not as good as the Jake the Snake episode but still was a good podcast. https://jrelibrary.com/1598-mark-the-undertaker-calaway/
  18. I never put anything in a 401k that is pre tax to me it is just a dumb idea to pay the taxes later when you will be on a limited budget. Disagree - take the tax break now when I'm at peak earning years when the tax break will be greater. Plus, if you have an employer that has a decent match (back in the 2000's I worked for a company that matched dollar for dollar up to 10%), it's free money. A tax break of the 401K limit of $19,500 means a lot now, plus my company matched another over $5000 last year. Also, greater accumulation of wealth and compounding of interest now means being on less of a budget later. A ROTH 401k is basically what I am talking about so I am not losing money and fairly certain I will be in a different higher tax bracket when I retire well sort of. To expand on this I have an annuity that I set up about 10 years ago that should pay out between $3000-3500 a month plus my ROTH 401k plus a part time job will put me in a higher tax bracket.
  19. Pre tax is the key word here. 401k's are not just pre tax accounts you can have a ROTH 401k that is all post tax. I don't really plan on retiring ever really I will still be working until I die or at least that is the plan. When I retire I will still be working so my income will be actually higher than what I am bringing in now. To me ROTH's are just a better option compared to your traditional 401k's. I have done enough research in this area for taxes that it doesn't really make much sense for what I want to do to put use a pre tax 401k selection post tax makes the most sense for me. I still get my companies match so not losing money at all.
  20. It is all ROTH 401k which is all after tax so taxes when I take it out when I retire will be at a minimum so the match is still there.
  21. I never put anything in a 401k that is pre tax to me it is just a dumb idea to pay the taxes later when you will be on a limited budget.

    Pizza

That settles it never going to have Detroit style. The hot lunch pizza in grade school tasted like they used cardboard for crust and ketchup for sauce and the cheese was whatever they could scrape off the grill. Hopefully there wasn't any sausage on the pizza because if you were unlucky enough to get the sausage one it was basically some kind of mystery meat that no one knows where it came from.
  23. You could always put a sell stop order in. For example if you bought stock A at $50 and then it runs up to $75 a share you could put a sell stop order in at $75 and if the stock keeps on going up it won't trigger but once it gets within a few fractions of $75 it will trigger that sale thus locking in your $25 per share gain.
  24. After WW:84 which was just bad from after the beginning of the movie to the end. I don't know why but DC movies just suck and I think it is partially to do with the writing and partially due to the villains that they are using as being boring and having no character behind them.
