    Not a mental thing. Like all pitchers it comes down to repeating their mechanics. This has always been a problem for Miz. It is also why scouts believe he is a reliever over a starter. He has a hard time repeating his mechanics to stay consistent. Mostly due to his height. It is far harder for taller people to repeat their deliveries on a consistent basis. Randy Johnson took about 2-3 years in the majors to finally figure out his mechanics. Probably going to take Mis that long or longer to figure that out. Having him in AAA doesn’t really help with that. He needs to be with the big league club. Probably one or two more starts before they move him to the bullpen.

    For the 2024 class you can blame that on PC as the recruiting for that class is usually started two or three years prior. Strebig wouldn’t have signed with UW regardless. Like I have said previously PC set this program back by at least 10 years. He should have been fired earlier. He really killed the program’s recruiting both in state and out.

    I thought the Cubs were supposed to be in 1st place by now and the Brewers would be far in their rear view mirror? Why are the Brewers still in 1st place? Is this a conspiracy by MLB to keep the Cubs down and not allow them to be in 1st place? What is going on?

    There really hasn't been many good lineman in the state in the past few years let alone players that want to stay in state and play for the Badgers. There have been a lot of 1 star and 2 star players in the state. Do we really want to covet those players just because they are from WI? This just doesn't make any sense.

    Oh man loving some of these play fakes. I don't think PC was smart enough to do these type of plays.

    The passing game looks very far ahead of the running game and Trech looking good but not sure he was inbounds on that catch but what a catch with Trech!

    This center sucks. Has he ever played center in his life?

    Ehh that third down pass was on the QB the TE was wide open and an easy pass to make and for whatever reason the QB threw it so far away from the TE. On 4th down again off the mark with the throw but the WR was able to adjust and make the catch for the TD. The run on 2nd down was seen well before the play was even ran. I am glad we don't have PC as he would have just ran it again on 3rd down and it would have been stuffed and then kicked a FG. Assuming he would have even been able to get the ball down the field that is. Definitely wouldn't have the WR's we have now on the team with PC. I believe the Badgers would look more like Northwestern with PC or Leonhard leading the team. Leonhard probably is fired after year this year if he was picked over Fickell.

    Yeah no it is actually the opposite. If a pitcher played in every single game sure this would matter but they don’t. What the team does on their off days is irrelevant. So a team being a playoff team or not is irrelevant to an individual award.

    No do the opposite. You should be buying during dips. Historically people who buy during the dips come out well ahead of people who sell and wait. Unless you are day trading or you are already at a loss you should be buying and not selling. You could trim now and then buy again in October. But trying to time the market is usually a losing strategy. I have been buying more in the down months and it has been paying off this year so far.

    No Wins/IP for a pennant chasing team do not matter because this is not a player + team award this is a player award. What the team does is irrelevant and doesn't matter. Skenes can't do anything when he is not pitching so why punish him for things that are not under his control but then award someone who did absolutely nothing for a team winning? Lets say you have a pitcher who has a year of 1.50 ERA 15 wins 250 K's but his team only wins 50 games but another player who goes 3.50 ERA 15 wins 250 K's but his team wins 100 games. You are seriously going to say the better pitcher is the one who pitched at 3.50 ERA is the better pitcher because their team won more games? Lets take this even further what if the first pitcher pitched every single inning of their starts. Are you still going to say the other pitcher is the better pitcher and should win the Cy Young award because they are on a better team? This is not a team award this is an individual award. You have to take the team results out of it which means you have to take out the wins. Team results mean absolutely nothing in an individual award, if this were the best pitching team award sure go ahead and use that information but this isn't that award.

    Prescott is still a bad QB. Missed a TD to Ferguson by under throwing it and then led him into a dangerous catch. Such an overrated QB.

    Whoever made the NFL commercial about the floats needs to be killed and then revived and then killed again and then revived and then finally killed again. That was the most cringe commercial ever.

    Theo is not a tackle as he doesn't have the arm length to be a tackle. Could be a good guard in a year or two or a 4th/5th OL. Depends on how well he improves this season but I am skeptical. https://x.com/jacobinfante24/status/1784372789798961162
