I have been having some bad luck with flights this year. First my flight from Venice to London was delayed due to an unexploded ordinance from WWII. This caused me to miss my flight home to Phoenix from London. Now my flight home from Cancun to Phoenix gets diverted to Tucson. Spend like 1 hour on the tarmac in Tucson waiting for immigration agents and the jetway. Then another hour going through customs to wait for my bag. Then another two hours in the airport for the plane to be refueled. If you see me on your flight it is probably going to be bad just saying.

Will be hard to beat Ohtani, Lindor and Soto. Not mentioning Profar is also having a great August.

Very flat and probably is in the dead arm period. Hopefully he can get through it and get back to what he was doing earlier.

I am tired of hearing about how WI can’t compete in the NIL money. The war chest that UW has is rather large. Far larger than Nebraska’s, is what I have been told by some insiders. Can the Badgers compete with the Texas or Ohio States? No but they can compete with the ASU’s, PSU and other likely teams. It feels like some are like we can’t compete with the best so we are doomed. I don’t believe this and the Badgers have signed some highly ranked prospects in the last recruitment cycle. This is a complete change from the PC era where it was we wouldn’t even try to recruit unless the player already committed. PC was such a lazy coach when it came to recruiting.

People drinking wine with a straw. All I can imagine is a very angry Italian yelling at them for doing this. I am not a big wine drinker but this bothers me a lot.

They look beatable but not sure if the Badgers can win that game. Would have to be a near perfect game from the offense. Defensively the Badgers look like they could hang with Alabama as long as the offense can sustain some drives that is.

Why Adams over Burke? Wood and Adamczewski make sense but I think Quero makes more sense over Wood. I am not sure the Brewers will do Wilken again.

The program was fading fast and hard under PC. This isn’t a recent problem. This has been occurring for awhile now and at least one or two years before Fickell arrived. PC basically gave up on recruiting after Mertz. He completely gave up and was disinterested in even recruiting at all. PC was a serious problem for the program and was rightly fired. The others leaving have hurt but how much no idea. I don’t believe Leonhard would have faired any better than Fickell in fact I believe the record would be worse.

Some risky stocks I have invested in recently are QS and SES. Both are lithium batter manufacturers or developers or whatever they want to call themselves. Very risky but I think one could be a $30-50 stock if they figure things out. Both are trading under $10 right now.

Thanks haven't been following the minors as much this year. Pitchers are so hard to predict for the AFL roster.
