  1. Connaughton with his regular brain fart on defense.
  2. At least they are fighting back here.
  3. Allen and Lopez are just brutal. I think Lopez is done he is just not able to move at all on defense it is like he is stuck in cement.
  4. Umpires are getting worse at calling balls and strikes. Yikes a ball completely in the strike zone called a ball.
  5. I wouldn't be against moving Cain to the 5th OF spot with Turang and Taylor splitting time in CF along with Turang taking over Peterson's roster spot. Should be enough playing time for Turang to rotate in CF, 2B and SS. This would leave the Brewers short on 3B but I think Turang could handle that when Urias needs a day off. Probably would be better than having Peterson playing there offensively. Then the Brewers could trade for someone like Bell or J.D. Martinez and have them platoon with McCutchen at DH and play the occasional 1B or LF.
  6. I am starting to believe Turang maybe a better option than a trade. So bring up Turang to take over Peterson's spot on the roster and have him play 2B, SS, and CF. Basically moving Cain to the 5th OF with Turang and Taylor splitting time in CF.
  7. Just contributing to the Shuckers errors. LOL
  8. Jim Callis has the Brewers taking 27. Brewers: Andrew Dutkanych, RHP, Brebeuf Jesuit Prep, Indianapolis https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-mock-draft-2022-position-players-standout I don’t think the Brewers will go with a prep pitcher with their first pick. I don’t think under the Stearns era there has been a prep pitcher taken with the first pick. I think the Brewers go with a college pitcher with their first pick.
  9. I think the Bucks just need to have Lopez out there when Horford is not on the court or just limit the amount of minutes he is on the court when Horford is on the court. It is just a bad defensive matchup when Horford is on the court and Lopez is covering him. Horford just sits around the 3-pt line and Lopez is basically useless. The Bucks are then playing 4 on 5 defensively.
  10. Turang is looking more and more like dare I say it? Trea Turner!
  11. Funny that Smart was crying about a no call at the end there after the refs basically let the Celtics hack the Bucks for the last 5-min of the game.
  12. Wow Holiday with 2 good defensive plays to end it!
  13. OMG JRUE!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. What? So hack Tatum and it is a foul but there was more contact on Portis and now a foul?
  15. The Bucks are getting hacked and no fouls. Portis gets hacked as he is going up no call again. I am not sure what the refs are doing but it is not reffing in this game.
  16. Would be nice if the refs would call the same fouls on each team. Holliday gets mauled going to the rim and no call. Smart flops on the floor and it is a foul?
  17. Until a “Karen” shows up and says you can’t sell hot dogs here and those don’t look like real hot dogs and then demands to speak to your manager!
  18. Second no hitter of the season by Reid Detmer. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/reid-detmers-no-hitter-angels-rookie-left-hander-throws-second-no-no-of-mlb-season-vs-rays/live/amp/
  19. Just missing the barrel on some of these deep fly outs.
  20. I would still rather do what the Braves did last year than going for that one big splash.
  21. Looks like the angle in the other video was throwing my brain off. It looked like he was falling down in the previous video or at least seemed that way.
  22. I am trying to figure out how he is staying balanced with that stride. It looks awkward but it may just be the angle of the video.
  23. I don't think you read what I posted on the Nationals trade. It wouldn't be Hiura for Bell, it would be Hiura+ for Bell meaning Hiura wouldn't be the main piece going back to the Nationals in that trade. Bell's value is not as high as you think it is either while there will be other teams bidding for Bell the price won't increase all that much. Teams will be trying to get Bell for basically lottery tickets. Something similar to what the Brewers gave up for Escobar last year or what the Cubs got in return for Joc Pederson in the trade with the Braves.
  24. Laureano is not as good as Cain in CF. Laureano is actually a better RF than he is a CF. Even Taylor is better defensively in CF than Laureano. But the prospects that the Brewers have maybe nice they are not in the elite category which is what you would need to include in a trade for Reynolds or Mullins. You maybe able to get Laureano but I doubt the A's will sell at a discount. The 2-4 prospects that they like would be something like Wiemer, Mitchell, Frelick and Small. That is a huge price to give up for one player. It would be better to trade one of the four or none as the Brewers are going to need cheap talent next year to fill in some roster spots if the Brewers are going to keep Burnes, Woodruff and Hader. Which means the Brewers are going to need a lot of prearb players along with low cost players. It would be better to do trades like the Braves did last year and get a bunch of players and roll the dice on them catching on fire. Get someone like J.D. Martinez and Bell on the team and see what can happen. This would be the same as not putting all of your eggs in one basket. Going after that one elite player hardly ever works it didn't work in going after Sabathia and it didn't work going after Greinke.
