  1. I am thinking if they go the college route it will be someone like Sterlin Thompson who is closer to someone the Brewers have drafted recently in Mitchell. I don't believe the Brewers really care about what position the player is playing and what is currently in their minors. I mean it counts for something but very little in the grand scheme of everything. I just have this feeling that the Brewers are going to go with a high school positional player this year. It maybe irrational but I think that is where they will be going and if someone like Jett Williams is there who really shouldn't be they will go after them.
  2. You could always try Air bnb and other websites for apartments or rooms to rent. VRBO AIRBNB or a short term rental https://www.apartmentfinder.com/Short-Term-Housing/Wisconsin/Milwaukee
  3. Every post you make is basically a strawman. When you are proven wrong you just move the goalposts to somewhere else. The ball being hit hard matches up with what I have seen from Yelich. The angle at which he is hitting the ball is also matching up with what he is doing. The better argument to make which I doubt you will even get is that the stats are not being used correctly. For example yes Yelich is hitting the ball really hard but how he is hitting the ball is not providing the results you would expect from the hard hit balls. The launch angle I believe for Yelich I haven't looked at them in awhile but it is somewhere around 10 degrees which is to shallow even for Yelich. If you said instead Yelich is hitting the ball hard but his launch angle is to low for it to be much of an impact that would be a better argument. Instead your argument is Yelich bad advanced stats bad incoherent rambling then moving the goalposts to something else strawman this strawman that. That is your arguments in a nutshell.
  4. Nice strawman, I really shouldn't be surprised really.
  5. It always matters how hard you hit the ball. Is this even a serious question?
  6. Yes and Hader can go and tell them to pound sand. This is not your typical work environment. The boss here has no leverage what are they going to do fire him? Discipline him good luck with that as you will never get a free agent to come to your team if you do that and the union will file a grievance and will win 100%. There is definitely an agreement between the team and Hader where he will not pitch multiple innings. Getting upset over it or even questioning it is just a fools errand.
  7. Not sure how many times this has to be repeated but Hader has stated he is not comfortable pitching multiple innings. There is definitely an agreement between Hader and the Brewers that they will only use him for 1 inning and that is it. The multiple innings from Hader is a thing of the past and there is really nothing CC can do about it.
  8. Maybe they go college but I think they may go with a high school player. The Brewers haven’t gone with a high school player in the 1st round since Turang in 2018.
  9. Burnes looked extremely annoyed after that error.
  10. I think he is on the same track as Wiemer was last year so earliest would be August for a promotion to Wisconsin.
  11. Unlikely on Feliciano his defense is not ready at catcher. You can hide a good bat in the OF or at 1B but you can't hide bad defense at catcher. There are just way too many things that can go wrong defensively at the catcher position.
  12. Well there is Brent “We are waving the white flag” Suter.
  13. Could be worse could have been swept by the Pirates at home! Or go 1-5 versus the Pirates.
  14. I think Corey Hart is probably a closer comparison than Hunter Pence.
  15. I have seen little league players throw harder than that and from deeper. Yelich arm is basically a noodle now.
  16. Pitchers were on a strict innings and pitch limit last year coming off of a 60-game season. Just about every team had these limits last year.
  17. Maybe put the previous ranking next to the current in brackets. Then you would just need a blurb stating the number in brackets are the previous rankings. Get rid of the arrows and just use green for positive and red for negative movements.
  18. I asked a scout I know who has seen a few games of Chourio's and he raved over him. He stated that he sees a very big similarity to Ronald Acuna.
  19. Not sure what you are talking about here. Yelich just about ran into Cain really was Yelich's fault there.
  20. They are both equally bad and I would rather have the RH batter going against a LH pitcher even if the stats say otherwise. The difference between Peterson and Hiura against LHP is small.
  21. Taylor was already getting the majority of starts before Renfroe went down with his injury.
  22. Looks to be a very tight strike zone this game. A few borderline strikes that should have been called strikes in the Urias AB.
  23. I watched the first two episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series this weekend and it was ok. Not fully disappointing like the last three movies but not as good as the Mandalorian. I don't like one of the characters as they basically dumped them into the storyline with no backstory at all. This character feels like the last three movies all over again where the character isn't developed at all and you are expected to know who they are without any explanation to them.
  24. For the draft I am thinking if the Bucks can somehow steal Nikola Jovic, I think that would be the best option. Jovic will not be ready for another 2 or 3 years and really anyone that the Bucks take at their pick really won't be ready for awhile. If the Bucks decide to blow it up a little bit trading Middleton to Portland and then trading the 7th pick for more picks would be the ideal situation. So something like this: Trail Blazers get: Middleton and Spurs 2023 1st round pick top 10 protected Spurs get: Josh Hart and #7 pick from the Trail Blazers and the Bucks 2023 second round pick Bucks get: 9th and 20th pick from the Spurs and Anfernee Simmons from the Trail Blazers. Then draft either Bennedict Mathurin or Shaedon Sharpe at the 9th pick or trade that pick for picks in 2023 and with the 20th pick hopefully he is available take Nikola Jovic and at the 24th pick take Patrick Baldwin Jr. Kind of a crazy trade that will probably never happen.
  25. I didn't think Grandal was doing that badly and yikes at Baez that contract is looking worse than Yelich's.
