  1. I don't think WiFi is going to work here. I know there are some outdoor WiFi extenders but I have heard mostly negative things about them. You could also try a WiFi booster but you are going to run into the same problem more than likely. Another option could be coax cable and use MoCA, but that will require you to dig a ditch from one cabin to the next. Assuming the land is owned by both parties and no one else you should be able to dig a ditch and lay the coax cable from one property to the next. https://www.screenbeam.com/wifihelp/wifibooster/what-is-moca-why-do-i-want-it/
  2. ATV rental then?
  3. I think the Braves would want Chourio in return for Acuna. I believe that is where the trade starts and ends with. Neither team would do the trade. Well the Braves may but I think they would want someone else along with Chourio.
  4. The buyout would have been more than the stretch more than likely. For example if Dame was owed $30mm this year and next and the Bucks paid $10mm that would only be a $10mm savings his cap hit would still be $20mm. A more detailed explanation can be found here: https://www.si.com/nba/what-is-a-contract-buyout-in-the-nba#:~:text=Salary Cap Implications of an,season but not the playoffs.
  5. I know I should be excited by the Turner signing but this feels like the Monroe signing. I am not sure why I feel like this maybe it is just my bias of thinking the Bucks needed to do a hard reset. None of the stats or anything like that back this up but I have this feeling that Turner is just another Monroe or Mason signing.
  6. Where did I compare him to Soto?
  7. There hasn’t been a superstar player traded in a while who would be a rental. Closest would be Soto but he had a few years of control when the Padres got him. If there was a superstar bat or starter you would see a top 50 prospect moved. For Suarez I just don’t see the Dbacks giving him up for anything less. They have this weird attachment to him and still see themselves as a playoff team.
  8. The Dbacks probably won’t trade Suarez. The Dbacks still see themselves as a playoff team. They also just got about $1bn to redo their stadium so I think they will be hesitant on trading players from their MLB club. If they do trade someone I think it will be Naylor and not Suarez. They may also trade their pitchers. For whatever reason they are extremely hesitant or unwilling to trade Suarez. If the Dbacks do put Suarez on the trade market you will have to give up someone like Luis Pena as the headliner. There will be a lot of teams bidding for Suarez which will increase the cost to acquire him. Suarez is not a superstar that I would be comfortable in giving something up for.
  9. They passed because of the franchise fee which has increased almost 1000 times since the Pettit's tried.
  10. Yeah Austin makes sense and Houston to some extent also. But New Orleans and Atlanta? I am not sure those markets make sense for hockey. If Milwaukee isn’t a viable option then New Orleans wouldn’t be one with Houston being in consideration and the same for Indianapolis. Though I am fine with Indianapolis getting a team. I think a better fit would replace New Orleans with Austin and replace Atlanta with Milwaukee. If you are just looking at the cities that makes more sense to me. Also a $2bn franchise fee seems excessive. Maybe the NHL means a total of $2bn in franchise fees for the four cities and not $2bn each. If it is a total of $2bn then that makes more sense as it falls in line with the most recent expansion cities fees.
  11. Apparently Giannis nixed a Middleton for Butler deal. I think Butler would have tried to nix the deal also on his end. https://sports.yahoo.com/article/giannis-antetokounmpo-told-bucks-not-165725902.html
  12. I had to do the same when I lived in Milwaukee. I had to actively try and not be miserable especially from November to about March. Just absolutely miserable to live in Milwaukee from that timeframe if it wasn’t the cold it was the snow and then if it wasn’t that it was something else. One of the reasons I moved from Milwaukee was just to miserable there.
  13. Apparently not and I believe Phoenix has to be offered one also as I believe that was part of the deal that moved them from Phoenix to Salt Lake City. But I think there is a set year that it has to happen by. This maybe outside that.
  14. Too much for Cortes.
  15. The Bucks haven't signed Turner yet so that $7mm exception is still there until he officially signs with the Bucks.
  16. The Bucks do have a $7mm trade exception they can use but that wouldn't be enough to offset a salary like Jrue's even if you include Kuzma and a future 1st.
  17. The NHL is looking to expand again and drum roll please....... Milwaukee is not on the list. The four cities that the NHL is looking at are Indianapolis, Houston, Atlanta and New Orleans with Austin on the outside looking in. Reported franchise fee is $2bn. Yeah I don't see Milwaukee getting a franchise when the fee is $2bn. Not enough possible revenue for a team in Milwaukee to pay for that fee.
  18. That sounds like a nightmare.
  19. I used to do Omaha Steaks but only because they offered a free crockpot and well this is the best crockpot I have ever had. The meats were ok nothing great. Don’t get the burgers they are overpriced and taste bland and shrink smaller than a slider at a local dive bar. I have used Butcher Box once or twice sometimes it is worth it and other times not so much. The subscription can suck especially if you need to make food for more than two people. Sometimes the steaks were really small and other times the correct size and weight. Taste wise they are nothing special and probably equal to what you can get at the supermarket. Same problem with the burgers again where they shrivel up to tiny little sliders.
  20. They still have the $7mm trade exception from the Middleton trade so they could add a PG that way. Giannis is reportedly not happy with the Dame release. Also apparently Giannis recruited Turner.
  21. This is a tough month and far harder than June. 12-12 would be my guess.
  22. I could be mistaken but I thought for the AZL they normally don't do repeat players.
  23. Later this season? I mean that is a bit optimistic maybe September at best would be his return timeline and I don't think that is really realistic. I think the playoffs would be a more realistic timeline but that wouldn't be ideal.
  24. There is more drag on the ball this year which may explain for some of the low scoring.
