Turang has raised his wRC+ all the way up to 119. He has a 229 wRC+ in the month of August and is only behind Shohei who is at 240. Realistically I think his wRC+ will drop a bit once August finishes as this is just a crazy number for him to be putting up but since this is the optimism thread lets just say he will pass Ohtani!

LOL how was pitch 3 a ball? This has to be the worst umpiring crew so many bad ball and strike calls that were obvious balls or strikes in this series.

About $90mm in excess value. Starting point is probably Made at a minimum and then work from there. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dbacks want Chourio as the starting point plus a pitching prospect like Misio and then some minor prospects.

Wins don't mean that much any more and really shouldn't have ever meant anything. The front runners would have to absolutely collapse for Peralta to get enough first place votes to win. Right now it is Skenes' or Wheeler's to lose. They would have to get their ERA above 3.00. I think Sanchez has a better chance of winning than Peralta does. -
