  1. This has to be some kind of record for the amount of infield hits the Brewers have given up so far this season.
  2. Cephus looked good in week 1 though he had some drops and one was a big one in the end zone. Though the TD drop he was covered really good by Fuller but still one he should have caught. I think he will have another good game against the Packers. Peterson should also have a good game against the Packers run defense.
  3. Bartolo Colon is the greatest. I am not sure if Beltre or Colon is my favorite baseball player ever! https://www.instagram.com/p/CFLGC_qA77d/?igshid=17fu9mha41cr2
  4. Enrolling early.
  5. I have seen him being classified as an OLB even if he has to become a LB the 2021 recruiting class just got a whole lot better.
  6. How much more does losing to the Heat hurt now though also? I thought the Clippers were the biggest threat coming into the season with their perimeter defense. Then obviously Bam blew up and the Heat looked like they'd be a threat(one I thought we'd overcome). I think the Bucks would have matched up pretty well with the Lakers...not that it matters now. The Bucks are about the exact same team as the Lakers. Even though Bledsoe sucks in the playoffs I would take him over what the Lakers have. The Clippers lost to an inferior team the Bucks lost to a really good team. The Heat are better than their record shows. Before the lockdown I believed the Heat were going to cause problems in the playoffs. They were a very strong 5 seed before the lockdown and were the same team after. The Heat were really a 3 seed or a 2nd seed ppaying as the 5th seed. The Bucks should have beat them but losing to them is not as bad as the Clippers losing to the Nuggets.
  7. The PS5 prices were announced today 499.99 with a disc and 399.99 for digital only. Not bad for what you are getting either way. I think I am going to wait a year before I get one. https://blog.playstation.com/2020/09/16/playstation-5-launches-in-november-starting-at-399-for-ps5-digital-edition-and-499-for-ps5-with-ultra-hd-blu-ray-disc-drive/
  8. He will be traded this off season. I think the Indians weren't able to find a match to trade him there were rumors both were going to be traded.
  9. I am going to go with the Clippers also. The Bucks never really looked like they were going to win the series against Miami. The Clippers on the other hand just look like they had the series in hand and put it on cruise control and lost.
  10. Big Ten football officially back on 10/24. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/big-ten-football-announces-return-to-play-2020-season-on-oct-24-with-eight-games-daily-rapid-testing/
  11. Ironic I know but it is what it is.
  12. Right but there still has been rumors to not include them because of the late start to the season for the B10. To be fair the B10 shouldn't be ranked right now until the teams play a game or at least not rank them within the top 10 until the teams have played.
  13. There has been talks of excluding the B10 from the playoffs.
  14. Different generations. The amount of trust towards governments and even companies was different then compared to now. Also information is far more widely available now than any other time in history. This includes misinformation and information that is true but is represented as being false or exaggerated. To answer your main question there were probably people and groups of people who were anti-Polio vaxxers.

  17. It has been rather obvious. The Dodgers didn't really show all that much this interest this off season. The Yankees showed the most interest this off season and that was it. During the deadline this year it was again the Yankees and the Padres who showed the most interest. The interest of Hader by the two teams was as far as it got and nothing more. This off season I expect either the Yankees or the Padres to show interest again but they are not going to pay the Brewers the prospects that Stearns is looking for. If the Braves falter in the playoffs again I wouldn't be surprised if they go after Hader and they have the prospects to do it. Something like Pache, Shewmake and Tarnok wouldn't be a bad haul for Hader. Shewmake is someone to watch and I am not sure the Braves would want to part with him.
  18. That would be a dumb idea. With a double header today having your first starter only go 3 innings is just a dumb idea as you will be down at least 3 pitchers for game 2. You are basically burning through your bullpen for no reason at all Ned Yost is that you?
  19. This is an awesome turn around by Burnes but the article below gives some more insight on what the Brewers and Burnes did this off season. Some credit needs to be given to Hook. https://www.mlb.com/news/corbin-burnes-develops-into-cy-young-candidate
  20. The umpire missing that strike call killed this inning. Robo umps now please it is just dumb to have umpires calling ball and strikes.
  21. The Brewers and Cubs have combined for 27 k's this game. So 50% of the outs so far if the Brewers don't K in the bottom of the 9th.
  22. The Brewers also changed his swing after his rookie year. It took him some time to adjust as he was more of a put it in play Juan Pierre type of hitter when he first started playing with the Brewers. The Brewers changed his swing to get him to have more power at the plate. It wasn't until 2016 he started to see success again and then in 2017 he got hurt but then picked it back up in 2018. Last year was kind of a lost year for him but he still showed some promise last year and was called up in September. Taylor is probably a #4 OF which is fine for the Brewers. It is good to have a cheap option as your #4 OF who can play all 3 OF spots. The only thing he has going against him is that he is right handed but beyond that he should be the Brewers #4 OF for the foreseeable future. I wouldn't mind him getting more playing time or at least playing a soft platoon with Gamel. While Gamel is hot I am fine with him playing against RHP over Taylor but once Gamel's bat cools off which it will Taylor should be playing more.
  23. I would love Beal, but I have to believe they'll get 10 better offers than that. If those 1st round picks were lottery picks, sure, but they're not. I think if you change the 1st round picks to sometime in the future kind of like the Thunder and Clippers deal for George and have them swappable it could work. For the Wizards you can almost guarantee that Wall is not going to be the player he was before his injury. He is owed $30+m a season for the next 3 seasons. Beyond Beal that team is garbage. This helps out the Wizards a lot and Beal only has two more years left on his contract. The Wizards win this trade especially if the picks are further in the future with an option to swap.
  24. Total runs scored is still below most of the teams in the NL. These are the teams with less runs scored than the Brewers after the game today: Marlins, Cardinals, Reds, Pirates, and Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks are just 1-run behind the Brewers after today's game. On a side note the Brewers scored as many runs as they have wins this year in today's game.
