  1. Yeah Bohm to the White Sox makes no sense at all. The only way this makes sense is if a third team would be involved and they were getting Bohm. Crawford makes some sense but I think the White Sox would prefer prospects only for Crochet and something better than Crawford.
  2. The QB position has actually gone back in time to where the QB is basically a RB who can throw the ball just that the QB’s now are more athletic and have better arms and better receivers a long with the protection to limit the hard hits.
  3. He is a good DT but he will need to improve on his pad level. It will probably take 2-3 seasons before you see any return on him. He is very similar to Keanu Benton and a better version of Gervon Dexter coming out of college in terms of pass rushing but he is worse at tackling. Tackling and his pad level are his biggest concerns. Though he is probably a late to mid first round selection or an early second round depending on how he performs at the combine.
  4. But this has been a problem before Fickell got here at least on the offensive side of the ball. With PC there was very little to no improvement anywhere and most regressed or got worse than when they came to the program. Allen didn’t even improve all that much year over year with PC as the HC. The OL kept on getting worse and worse after year 2 or 3 under PC. The only thing that stayed constant for the Badgers was the defense. There was also very little to no improvement on the defensive line for a while. There were warts and issues under Leonard that were popping up. The D-line being the biggest problem. I can’t remember anyone on the D-line making much if any improvements year over year during PC’s reign as the HC. It was a talent issue but at some point there should have been a few players who could have been coached up a bit and I can’t remember a single one. The D-line has been a problem since PC took the job and probably a bit before that.
  5. If you have a QB that can play under center sure run that but majority of HS QB’s will be running some kind of spread offense. Nearly all of Carter Smith’s snaps at HS came from the shotgun. Majority of your top recruits are going to be used to that than being under center.
  6. Up 11 with only about 2 minutes left should be an automatic W. Though the Vikings are going to win anyways.
  7. The Bucks are still missing Middleton and there still isn’t any news on when he will return. It is looking like it will be later in the season possibly after the All Star game. This is really concerning with Middleton and I am not sure he will be the same player.
  8. Carter Smith commits to the Badgers.
  9. Yet they were completely dominated by Ohio State in every aspect on the OL. Indiana is not a top 10 team and they are a bit overrated as they have played two teams Michigan in a down year and Ohio State. They just barely beat Michigan and got absolutely rocked and dominated by Ohio State. If you gave Indiana Wisconsin's schedule they may have one or two more wins than Wisconsin has. That doesn't scream a top 10 team to me. The OL also looked very similar to the Badgers in that Ohio State game. I don't see Bostad being all that much better than Blazek. Bostad is also in his second year at IU compared to Blazek only being in his first. Bostad didn't look all that great last year at IU.
  10. I still think Fickell was the right hire. The defense didn't look good today which is weird as the defense lately has looked decent. The OL is still having issues where they look good for stretches then completely fall apart. I don't think it is a coaching problem I think it is the players not executing the coaching. You can be the greatest coach but if it goes in one ear and out the other there really isn't much you can do coaching wise that is a player problem. I think the Badgers have a lot of player problems on the OL and that is why the running game comes in spurts every once in awhile there are holes and other times the OL forgets what they are even doing. You can see at times there is some solid coaching going on and things get fixed and then all of a sudden they are back to where they were for no apparent reason. I don't think there needs to be a house cleaning at all. This team has some really good talent especially at the skill positions. They need to fix the OL and the QB situation if they fix those two spots I think this team will surprise people next year. This was always going to be a 3-5 year fix as PC completely gave up on recruiting and left the team in a really bad spot recruiting wise. We are just starting to see better recruitment and we just need to live through what PC did to the program recruiting wise.
  11. He is already 34 years old. I wouldn't even put him ahead of Monasterio on the roster.
  12. This is his 2024 spray chart with AmFam overlay. Assuming he would hit the same he would have a few doubles and outs recorded as HR's. Mostly his outs to Left Center and Right Center would be home runs and he would also benefit from the shorter dimensions in RF compared to Citizens Bank. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/illustrator?playerId=664761&playerType=batter&name=Alec Bohm&tabSelection=0&shape=square&shapeName=Square (Instagram)&subTitle=&chartType=sprayChart&chartName=Spray Chart&pitcherThrows=&batterStands=&plateAppearanceResults=[]&pitchTypes=[]&seasonType=["R"]&pitchResults=[]&facingPlayer=[]&balls=[]&battedBallType=[]&years=[2024]&strikes=[]&outs=[]&selectedGames=[]&homeTeam=[]&awayTeam=[]&vsTeam=[]&exitVelocityGT=0&exitVelocityLT=125&pitchVelocityGT=0&pitchVelocityLT=105&launchAngleGT=-90&launchAngleLT=90&perspective=catcher&venue=32 His expected adjusted is the same in Milwaukee as it would be in Philadelphia and just one less on the standard over at Baseball Savant. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/savant-player/alec-bohm-664761?stats=statcast-r-hitting-mlb
  13. Dang it you beat me to it.
  14. The only other thing I can think of would be to combine them into one post and have the tool just make a new post in that one. That would also de clutter things.
  15. Would it be possible to add a filter and a tag for all of the payroll blueprint threads? It is a bit over whelming and overly cluttered with the number of posts from this tool. I don't mind that they are on the main forum but if it would be possible to add a filter and have these tagged to remove them it would be a bit helpful.
  16. Marquette is going to need as many wins like this as they can get as the Big East is not as good this year or as deep as it was last year.
  17. Challenge met and conquered. One thing I was not liking in this game was the number of fouls and the times where it was stand around make one or two passes and then shoot a three. The offense looks a lot better when they are attacking the basket. Need more of that and less of the stand around the three point line and shoot.
  18. Too many 3's and not enough lane penetration to end the first half.
  19. Good start to the game by Marquette.
  20. What in the actual heck was Giannis and Green doing in that play? That is just bad defense and pure luck they didn’t get a shot off.
  21. Not concerned just a matter of fact that they just squeaked by Maryland. This game against Purdue may be an elite 8 or final four matchup preview. A bit early but I think Marquette can finally get that far into the tournament as long as they stay healthy that is.
  22. I think keep unless you are able to add a filtering by tags in the main forum.
  23. The one I am talking about is the one where Walker is running all alone into the end zone wide open. Locke had no pressure coming and absolutely air mails the ball above Walkers head. It was an easy pass and would have resulted in a TD. That was the game winner right there instead of 3-pts it should have been a TD. Locke is absolutely horrible and should not be the QB going forward he can’t even make the easy throws.
  24. When you over throw a wide open receiver by 10 feet in the air there really isn't an offense that is going to do you any favors.
  25. The Badgers should be up by 1 if Locke makes an easy throw earlier in the game instead the Badgers only got 3 instead of 7.
