Bohm for Williams would be fair I think though I believe Williams value is closer to $14mm in surplus value and Bohm is closer to $16mm I don't agree with the BTV value of $22mm for Bohm and $11mm for Williams. I think BTV has an overly inflated value of Bohm and a slightly deflated value of Williams. So Bohm for Williams and a lower level prospect makes sense or just Bohm for Williams also makes some sense here. The Phillies are probably the best option for a Williams trade followed by the Dodgers and Rangers.

Don't care. Again playoff bonus money. You are missing the point. This is for the top 8 picks in the draft and that is it. Instead of letting teams tank they need to play for those picks. If they win the playoff they get the #1 seed, 2 seed 3 seed 4th seed etc.... So if you are the worst team in baseball get ready to play in a playoffs because you could be picking 8th if you don't advance to the final round.

I don’t think anyone was thinking that low but sub 6% is what some were thinking. I don’t think they will get below 5.7%. I think that will be the bottom for mortgage rates and it will stick around 6% even with more rate cuts. If this stays steady then rates will stay where they are there won’t be another cut by the Fed.

I said like Pratt not Pratt for Robert. Basically the White Sox are going to look for guys who are at a maximum in AA for the main piece coming back so someone like Pratt. Pratt on his own should get you Robert but I don't see the Brewers even entertaining this. Something like Boeve and two other pieces is something the Brewers would be more comfortable in trading for someone with Robert's injury history. If I were to trade for Robert I would probably just put him as the main DH and having him play LF when Yelich needs a day off or in RF/CF when Contreras needs a day off. I think the Yankees, Giants, Mariners or the Cubs will pay more to get Robert than what the Brewers will.

Dupree kind of reminds me of a mix between Ball and White. They need to get Kekahuna the ball more. Maybe add in some end sweeps or an end a round every once in a while. Kekahuna kind of looks like a DJ Moore type of a player. I am not sure he will be as good as Moore is but I really like his athleticism. If he was taller Kekahuna would be everything you look for in a WR.

I still didn't see anything from Rutgers that suggest they were a tough game for the Badgers even coming off the loss to USC and Alabama. I am not sure what everyone was so worried about with this game. I don't believe Rutgers is all that good and they showed that today. They are not a good team and their record seems a bit fluky. I had the Badgers having the last two games as very winnable but some said that wasn't going to happen especially the Rutgers game. There are a bunch of winnable games left against Northwestern, Iowa and Minnesota. Oregon and Penn State are probably losses and then you have a maybe winnable game against Nebraska. If the Badgers steal one from Nebraska and win two of three against Iowa, Northwestern and Minnesota that puts you at 3 more wins which gets the team to a bowl game.

Mortgage rates still haven’t dropped and have actually increased a bit. I don’t expect mortgage rates to drop below 6%. At least not until the 10-year treasury drops. Should be around 6.2 to 6.4 by the end of the year. Another rate cut wouldn’t even impact this either. Mortgage rates have actually stayed fairly stagnant since the rate cut it was at a low of 6.08 and has gone back up to 6.3 in October. Expected rates for mortgages in October are to be around 6.5%. For Q4 most have predicted a 6.2% rate. For 2025 most economists are predicting a low of 6 to 6.1%. Even if there are more rate cuts I don’t see mortgage rates moving all that much and I wouldn’t expect them to be below 6%. We may see some months at 5.9% but I believe the average should stay at or above 6% for 2025. The best predictor of mortgage rates is the 10-year treasury notes. If you see decreases there then expect mortgage rates to decline along with the notes. There is a bit of a lag but mortgage rates tend to follow the 10-year notes more closely than anything else.

Yes that is why it is good. It is better than tanking for the #1 pick. The #8 team could potentially get the #1 pick. It also allows for those fans to cheer for something when the season is basically one big misery.
