  1. Locke is in his own head. Keeps on throwing the ball way too early than he has to.
  2. Feels like they should have at least one more score if it wasn’t for the drops. The defense looks like it came to play and with a purpose. Still some bad tackling but overall they are playing good.
  3. Got lucky with the 12 men on the field penalty. Should have had a TD on the play action.
  4. Drops are killing them plus that phantom holding on the kickoff.
  5. Must be garbage time as Beauchamp is in the game.
  6. LOL that is not happening. Beauchamp will be lucky to play garbage minutes.
  7. There really is only one good prospect being traded and that is Foscue and Leiter shouldn't be considered a good prospect anymore. He is looking more and more like a AAAA pitcher than anything else right now. He may have to become a reliever where he loses a lot of value as I am not sure you could count on him being consistent enough to be a late inning reliever. He still has some time left but he shouldn't be considered a good or a really good prospect anymore. The Brewers side is extremely short on value even with Semien's contract. I think the Rangers would rather pay some of Semien's contract than throw in prospects. It is a moot point anyways as I don't believe the Brewers would take on much of Semien's contract anyways. It is just way too much to take on for a 30+ 2B even if he would average 4-5 WAR a year over the span of his remaining contract. It would be better to just sign Adames as he should get about the same per year as what Semien would be making though for about 2-3 years more.
  8. Always good to start out the season with a win.
  9. Coming as a surprise to no one but Middleton won’t be playing in game 1.
  10. The Bucks are big on team chemistry this year. Thanasis brings more "chemistry" than Beauchamp does apparently.
  11. I think it is just them trusting what they are seeing and not relying only on their athleticism to make the play. They are definitely in better positions to make plays than they were earlier in the year.
  12. The Panthers are not a QB away let alone a player away from competing. They are a whole team away from competing.
  13. The one thing I worry about with Luis Lara is that he is so small.
  14. Not really the stats you’re showing are only slightly better. They are not significantly better than Monasterio. Great he is better at hitting RHP but is that worth Black and Uribe at his current contract? He is not and thus he is worth about the same as Monasterio as that is his value. Offensively they look exactly the same to me. Plus McMahon is going to be 30-years old next season. He is not going to improve on what he is. If anything he will regress a bit going forward making him closer to Monasterio offensively.
  15. DeJong offensively had a better year than McMahon. All of McMahon’s value comes from his defense. Even playing in Coord didn’t help him out offensively. Offensively he is Monasterio. Would you trade Black and Uribe for Monasterio?
  16. DeJong would be similar to McMahon at a lower salary and won’t cost prospects to acquire.
  17. Yuck that would be a horrible decision. McMahon is just a more consistent Monasterio or Oliver Dunn. You really want to give up Black and Uribe for that and take on his whole contract?
  18. I think the biggest reason the team has turned around is that the offensive line is finally producing. The run and pass blocking has improved dramatically since the beginning of the season. QB play is still below average and at times just absolutely awful. Locke needs to be smarter with his decision making. I keep on hearing how smart he is at QB but he continues to make the same stupid mistakes over and over again. At RB it looks like the Badgers have found their two main backs. They have looked like Badgers RB in the last few games. Defensively the team has turned it around also. Still the defensive line is the teams weak point but the linebackers have gotten some help the last few games. It is no longer resting on the linebackers to cover for the d-line on every play. Play calling has also improved immensely. I would still like to see a reverse and get Kekauna more involved in the game. I was so excited when they did the toss to him. I don’t expect them to beat PSU but I think they have a chance if Locke doesn’t turn the ball over.
  19. The best throwbacks this weekend was by the University of Illinois. The helmets and jerseys were just spot on.
  20. No thanks. If it only costs Monasterio or someone similar sure otherwise no.
  21. The Bucks have been trying to trade Beauchamp but haven’t found a deal yet. They may just release him and sign Thanasis to take his spot if they can’t find a trade partner. Well the plan is to sign Thanasis but the Bucks need a roster spot to do so. Beauchamp is basically an end of the bench no chance in playing unless it is an absolute blowout type of player. Don’t expect to see much of Beauchamp going forward at least with the Bucks.
  22. Defense has been bailing out Locke.
